IntegraGS-R
1 pt per $5000 earned
-1 pt per $5000 spent
30 for helicopters
i believe its 5 pts for every 1% of accuracy (or maybe 3 pts)
1 pt for every legit kill
1 pt for every criminal/patient/etc in R3 missions

i think that's about it

5 pts for each 1% of accuracy is correct (as is everything else he listed)-- besides that there are misc points awarded for missions and stuff-- completing a game to 100% should net you about 6 or 7 thousand points pretty easily-- after that, the stats Integra listed can be used to boost it higher.

Thank you very much. And also, I tried your killing method with the hunter, near the end of the runway by the gate, shooting the FBI Ranchers as they fly past but I only shot about 3 or 4 of them before they stopped showing up, and there weren't any rancher-skeletons in view of the screen either...think it has something to do with the Xbox version as opposed to the game?

It is possible that the Xbox counts the cars differently---you might need to try it at different angles but it is possible that it just won't work on xbox-- there is always the rocket launcher method which is about as fast but it is more consistent and easier (and faster to get up and running)-- you need 100% to use that method though-- if you need any assistance let me know.

i wonder what T.Vercetti used for killin, he owned spuds and acidman

Look at his stats-- he obviously did it mainly with vigilante (likely brownthunder)-- by my estimates he has done about 90,000 levels.

Criminals killed on Vigilante Mission
1. 1074035 - T. Vercetti
2. 179213 - Spuds725
3. 100782 - Acidman
4. 81597 - Hell No
5. 41370 - IntegraGS-R

Sweet jesus thats a lot of kills. I think I'm only hovering around 12,000!

...and is that a dog with snow-blades on its paws?

I think I've only done a total of about 700 vigilante missions...but 90,000?! He must have gotten them in the airport...repeatedly and consistnetly for like 3 weeks! Now thats true compulsiveness. I wonder what the world record is? Anyway, I'm still hovering at 97% completion, and I'm pretty darn sure that the only thing I haven't completed is the 12 ambulance missions, but I can't see them counting towards 3% of the total completion status, although it is entirely possible. I think getting all 100 hidden counted towards 25% of the total completion status.

well if you need help to get 100% just ask, i have a 100% save as do many of us "GTA" ers.

Plus there are sticky threads that have a checklist, as to whats requred for 100% in GTA3, VC, SA.

Hey, the minigun works as great as the rocket launcher - autoaim (a little). the only problem is, would be shooting down the helicopters :indiff:...

Anyway, what's everyone doin these days in VC? I love the 100% completion- it seems like bugs have been comming out of the woodwork! I've hardly ever had bugs before, now i have cops falling out of the sky, tanks that do wheelies, ranchers that refuse to blow up, bodyguards that are never there. Wonderful.

PS
Anyway, what's everyone doin these days in VC?.

I played it for about 2 hours the other day-- just stunting-- I can almost get on top of the Hooker Inn (I am getting so close) hitting the grass bank on the east side near the road--I land on the ledge just below the roof--- SA's bike physics are alot different, its tough getting a good spin--other then that I've only done the street race Ocean drive (improved my time to 52 seconds) and I've given PCJ playground some tries-- I usually screw up the 3rd checkpoint (have always had problems with it) and have actually been hitting the second stairway ramp too fast lately and overshooting the checkpoint on the roof--need to remember to ease up on that jump....I'm still confident I can break 1 minute on that race..its hard getting a clean run though.

I'm getting better at riding bikes in VC since I got used to using the left stick in SA in driving-- helps with the ducking down.

Heh, I've gotten on top of it before. It's also fun jumping onto that metal roofed building, and then driving along it before turning into the jump and flying into the airport. I like those little bump/ramps in Escobar! Those little ones are SO fun! Hitting one max speed just as you turn and lean back slightly, is so fun. He goes so high, it's awesome!

[edit]Just completed my goal of the week to achieve 250,000 CR points! Last monday I was at 230,000. So good for me.

Yah, but how long have you had the game? I've had it since the end of July, and I've restarted 4 times. So neeeeeh.

Anyway, I raised my accuracy 37% last night. I tied down the trigger, point it at a tank, and went to bed. lol, I left at 19% and now it's at 56%. I used the minigun too, which fires like 1000rpm. Anyway, I'm going to do the same tonight and see if you really do get 5 points per 1% of accuracy. Pretty easy way to pass time, gain accuracy, and increase shots fired and shots hit too.

You are doing it the wrong way-- using the minigun, your shots fired go up as do your hits-- you will never get above 100% that way.

Now try using the sea sparrow or Hunter... if like the PS2 version, the shots fired will not count, but your hits will, making extremely high accuracies possible. I took a game with 482 shots fired, let it go for about 35 hours, got an accuracy of 416,000% and a CR of over 2,000,000....

Here is a link to the 2nd VC recordbook (the one Integra ran) in which I did this.

ahhhh got damn!!!!!

[edit]

um that method doesn't work. Both the shots fired and bullets that hit are counted, from the apache anyway.

Oh well guess you are SOL...

In my 100% (godfather) game, my accuracy peaked at about 350% from doing vigilante and killing sprees in the hunter.

They fixed that glitch in SA-- the shots fired still don't count, but they won't go above bullets that hit so you can't get more then 100%-- accuracy isn't even a stat in the game but its in there somewhere-- I verified that the accuracy does affect CR by 5 pts per 1% in SA too (I had to calculate out my accuracies to see)

OMFG NO!!! I sold 544 more "ice cream" last night and it froze!!!! AAAAAGGH!!! It put me up to 1212 ice creams sold....noooooo...I think I'm going to cry. Or sell my Xbox...but most likely cry. In the corner. Because I feel dirty and exposed.

[edit]omg, it happened again. This time at 256 deals. And the radio continues to go on for some reason...

Frozen...again.

Note: this is like the 5th time in the last day.

[edit2]

I've lost over 800 ice cream deals due to freezing in the last 2 days. Anyone know why that is?

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the " Military Hardware " mission where you need to steal a tank, I did it when the game first came out, and haven't played since. Now I am having a hell of a time trying to pass this level. I haven't had the chance to get a bazooka yet, and I can't find a good ambush spot, any help would be greatly appreciated. ( I even tried taking a helicopter and landing on the tank, jumping out and jumping in the tank, but got SMOKED real fast ! )

There's a rocket launcher in the pool behind the hotel on the road to the airport (map). I think I parked a car in front of them and backed off a block or two before blowing them up. I don't remember if that's the one time that worked, or one of the many times that didn't, though :P.
Hit and run is probably better then a full on assult. Block their path, hit the front, then loop around the block and hit the back. Repeat as nessicary.
I tried using a helicopter and shooting them from the roofs along the route, but I'm pretty sure that didn't work out.

The mission is "sir yes sir"

You can pass that one with rockets-- just keep firing when they are pretty far away-- I believe after all the escorts are dead, the driver gets out and runs away....

but the easy way is to wait at the "deli" or "donut shop" at the corner by the police station-- when they get there, the convoy stops-- and the commander orders the tank driver to get him some donuts--he responds "sir yes sir" and gets out of the tank-- just jump in and its yours.
