My problem is not with the TT race but the German Touring Car that I race with the audi TT.
I won the series (all golds) and then repeated for Cr, got the option to clear/unclear etc. I went to do the race again yesterday and didn't get this option, but after winning all races I still got the CLK again. It seems to me that although the menu sees all gold, the game does not.
Have I got % for doing these races ? I do not know. I used my AR Max and set that series to all Gold and my % completion did not change. So I guess I am not going to know until I have finished the game.

yes, I use that german touring car shampionship for money too and it ususally doesn't ask me if I want to clear score and still gives me the mone and CLK GTR Race car. I don't mind and don't care att all.
As for TT race - well I got PAL and have 100.0% without trouble. I used for TT race my ABT TT-R.

It depends on whether the engine is in the front or the back, sometimes with the bigger cars like the Minolta the cars rear end is facing the user but if this happens with a front engined car the guy has to go all the way under to the front of the car. I don't know why it does it but it's logical.

I ran into a funky quirk in GT4 the other night: I'd done some GT Mode stuff, then backed out to the main menu to do some arcade Time Trial. I chose the George V track, and the Alfa 155 Race Car, went into quick tune, then chose A-Spec. The race started with the autopilot driving, but the B-Spec race display was on.
When the game got to the point where it should hand the driving to me, the car just coasted into the wall and stopped. My DFP couldn't control the car, but it was spinning and pulling feedback from it. The B-Spec display was still on, but B-Spec was not driving. I tried it with a couple other car/track combos and got the same results, but a reset put everything back to normal. I suspect the game just got a couple 1's and 0's mixed up - no biggie. Anyone else see anything like this?

When I 'save' a favorite car in the time trial mode, it's not saved sometimes (read: most of the time), so when I come back to time-trial and look at my favorite cars, odds on the one I just selected (day before, or whatever) isn't in the list. Seems very hit and miss.
I've taken to - after I'm done in time trial - exiting that mode, entering Gran Turisimo and SAVING the game, hoping the favorite selection is saved too.

I have bought myself a Toyota GT-ONE race car. And i am using it to get the max speed possible in the game. I just keep racing around, get a max speed, fine tune the tranny, then race again. Well I just broke another record. Yaaa. And I go to fine tune the tranny a little more. And woops, what's this. All of my tuning settings are gone. It looks like the game set the car to default.
Somehow my transmission settings were wiped out. Anyone else have this problem?

can the NTSC game manual be considered a bug? it would appear they forgot to put in HOW to play the game. Instead they just put in pictures of things you will see on your screen. GT4's manual is pathetic compared to the "Bible" manual of GT2.

I had a AI Nissan LM car break out at Paris Opera track in the Dream car race.
I was leading on the last lap when this Nissan LM tries to take the left hand bend on the back straight without slowing.
I moved accross to bloke his line and bumped him into the wall.
I did not loss too much time and could no longer see him in my mirror. I finished the race and to my complete amazement found I had come second by about 26 seconds. So watch out for AI breaking out.

This is not a bug , but if you notice, the AI cars often go so much faster once they got in front of you, like in GT world chapionship, when the Nissan R92 was behind me, the gap between me and him always stays the same after coming out the turns, but when i made a mistake a he got in front of me, he was just like flying thought those corners, i was helplessly looking at the time increase like 2 seconds....4 seconds...8 seconds...WTF

You missunderstood.
The AI crashed the through the wall and crossed the finish line about 2 seconds later. The 26 seconds I lost by was the time it took me to get to the finish line by the correct route.

i cannot believe this is such a source of confusion.
FF/FR = front of the car faces the front/left, mechanic just goes under the front and back out.
MR/RR = back of the car faces the front/left, mechanic goes under the rear and back out.
4WD = front of the car faces the front/left, mechanic goes under the front and out the back.
I was talking about what happened to me, and it's not a bug, its just stupid, but what happened to you IS of course a bug, well, F you for making a buggy game KY.KENJIusa
This is quite true. I've noticed it often. Most recent ocurrance was when I was racing JGTC in stock Impreza Touring Car. In Suzuka East, for example, I lead the race up to 4-5 laps going 3-4 seconds ahead of the rest. Then one tiny mistake so that second car overtakes but I recover quickly enough to keep on his tail. Suddently the lead car pulls away to win by 15 second marginal. That's crazy 👎

i think in the long run, i'm still going to love my GT2 and GT3 over GT4... I don't wanna live with em' bugs.

I found out when i was racing some slow slow slow car ..2-CV, Subaru 360, + more of the old small midgets car with no more than 30 bhp.
First i tried a Nos with 50/50 Setup... that i could hold the NOS the whole race.... then i tried 90/10 and i could still hold the NOS the whole race... (It was still full when i got over the finnish line.)
I took a 2 lap race on both Le Mans Track and the N-Ring ...and i could hold the NOS on the entire Race....(it was still full)
I don't know is this a bug...but is not reallistic that you can drive with NOS the whole time..

with the gillet car (the belgian race car) when i race the 24hours of lemans (la sarthe) the second version, so without the chicanes, when i race in bspec it crashes into the wall at the long straight.
it is a fully upgraded with hard racing tyres. (so stage 3 turbo, and nos, no more upgrades were possible)
at the straight he accelerates to a speed of 370 or something. and 9 out of 10 times it suddenly steers fully to either left or right and keeps steering that way til it has almost come to a stand still... after that it just drives normally... til it reaches the straight again
and since 24hours continuously racing is a little too mutch for me, so i'd REALLLYY like the b-spec not to be buggy.. anyone else who had this? or anyone experience with lemans 24h II with other cars that don't do it??

I dont know if anyone else has posted this but:
If you goto buy wheels and you scroll through the available wheels real quick and let go quickly, it will show the previous wheels on your car instead of the wheels your highlighting. Its just a temp. bug tho, if you buy them then the real wheels get put on.

Only bug ive noticed is that since ive had the game i havent removed it from the PS2 and now its stopped working!!!
The intro movie started to "skip" and it wont load races, so now im GT4less until the company i bought it from give me a new shiny copy!
Just a question to anyone who has had to replace the disc due to a fault. Does the save game work on a new copy? cause i know certain games wont allow things like that.

I haven't really mentioned any bugs but I think its stupid that your cars have another amount of hp when you enter a race then when it's in your garage. Maybe a little glitch.

OOH yeah btw, there is a little bug in the game, wich you can get endless money with.
You can just copy youre saved game to another memory card, transfer your most expensive cars back to your own memory card in your garage. Delete the copy from youre 2nd memory card, Copy again from your first memory card and so on, really works but it isn't very much fun.

that wasn't the problem.. since i got sortof desperate (well hey, it was a bugged gt4LandoAWD
) i called custumor support. and they told me to let the ps2 run a self diagnose. so did that, not i got no more hickups in the starting movie and the sound during races.... and above all... it seems to have fixed it!!! la sarthe went pretty good now.. (only my car was too slow to win )
