Hello everyone, welcome to week 4 of the GT4 WRS. This is a three lap race in Arcade Mode. In order to run it, you must go to your options menu, under Arcade Mode settings, Acrade screen, and set number of laps to "3". Set Tire Wear, Penalty, and Time Limit to "None". Please note that Sports HARD tires are required, as well as NO HP changes, only -10% weight. TCS and ASM are optional.

what about tyre wear??

and is the deadline just over 24 hours away or 23hours, as 2pm GMT is still 10min away.

Great combo BTW 👍, i did well in GT3 deep forest II (week 102), see if i can replicate it :)

Good one, Deep Forest Reverse is my favorite track, I'm gonna move up a bit this week....I hope

Nice! Those 3 lappers, though... :nervous: This is about who can hold their nerve on the final sector of lap 3... :sly:

Anybody know how to un-lock the car?

Ain't got it in Lotus garage!

I don't know if this is correct, but I don't think the replay file specifies the cars weight.

i.e. I could lower the weight by 10% and no one could tell.

Am I blowin' smoke here or is that a problem.

John.

ps. Not that I'd lower the cars weight or anything and not tell anyone...

/maniacal laughter

Well this sounds interesting. I like the track, and I like Lotuses too. I'm not sure if I can take part this week, because I'm travelling to Italy on Friday and I'm thinking of doing some races in GT-mode this week.
Well, have fun with this

RedWolfRacer
Sounds good.

Dig the photo by the way. But that's Deep Forest normal. lol

I'm 100% sure it's reverse because I took it myself. Didn't run forwards at all yesterday.:)

Simply go into Simulation mode and purchase the car, and save the game. The car will appear in arcade mode for all eternity afterwards. Same goes for any other car in the game. Either buy it or win it, and it becomes unlocked in arcade mode. I've got 500+ unlocked so far.:)

i have 2 questions for ya CFM ^^^ and jonny has one too ^^ so dont leave us yet!

Cheers mate, had exactly that thought myself. Did so, made a cuppa and then read your post.

👍

If you don't want to waste the credits, buy the car but don't get into it. The car will then appear in Arcade Mode for the duration of your play until you reset the console.

another question, (sorry) is the concrete patches part of the track?, at gt.de they are not allowed, is it the same here.

NONE of the following are allowed:

rule22vn.jpg

rule31vx.jpg

rule10ph.jpg

Two tires MUST be in contact with the track / rumble strips at all times. Do not cut through these areas!

Yeah Crucified Fertile Mandrill? :)

What Fryz said..... erm... concrete bits...tyre wear.... and Jonny said erm weight issue?

Why not just make it minimum weight (-10% or whatever) to avoid confusion, and i think you should put that the AI cars need to be "Minus 10 %" so people avoid getting it wrong.

Otherwise.... well done!!! Nice Combo!!!

I like this car, and this track i know well after wrs for GT3. Good choice!!

Oh, just saw your pic post. sorry man. :grumpy:

Thanx for clearing that up!!! 👍

As of right now, World Time Zone says it's just after 4:00 PM in London. So either they're wrong, you're wrong, or I'm not even smart enough to read the words "current time, London, 4:00PM". Could be any of the three, really.:dopey: Six days and 22 hours form now is the deadline.👍

Didn't know you could do that... 👍 👍

All right the time zone thing is really pissing me off. It's frikkin ridiculous. My state is completly messed up as it's the only one that doesn't use DST, and now London is using it..so aaaagh. I'm going to light my hair on fire and jump out the window.:banghead: So 8 A.M. CST is supposed to be equal to 1 P.M. GMT?

As for the weight thing, I have changed the rules since weight cannot be verified in the replay file. So - minimum weight, normal HP it is.👍

now its just tyre wear question, then you can go to bed!

and yes 8am CST = 1pm GMT

Hmm nice combo ;)
I love the car - one of my favourites (is that proper word ?...) but I dont like the track :P Its because i dont like classical GT1 tracks in reverse mode .... (AFAIR deep forest was present in GT1 ?)

I edited the first post so that all the options for tire wear and such should be clear now. No tire wear. I didn't even realize that option was available or else I would have tried to include it somehow.

In other news, my state is now having a big vote in the statehouse about whether we should be on DST or not, and if so, should we be on DST with EST or CST? I think I'm going to smoke some PCP to calm my ADD then tell everyone in the timezone buisiness to KMA.

CFM you are still online :) so I would like to ask some question.
Im new it the OLR and I dont know one thing - T times in multilap race are - times after lap 1 and 2 or T times (without last T time) of one lap for example lap 2 ?

you do that CFM

 get it CFM is an acronym!! (its late for me, didnt know if you guys would get it)

Well now that you have it all sorted you can go to bed :D

villianpl to your question

example

Lap 1
T1: 28.786
T2: 1'07.569

Lap 2
T1: 25.867
T2: 1'04.641

Lap 3
T1: 25.124
T2: 1'04.157

Thats how you do it, no final times at all, just T1 and T2 from all 3 laps

You can't discuss any single lap times, only the split times that appear during the 2 checkpoints at Deep Forest, probably something along the lines of 20 something for T1 and 50 something for T2. You can discuss any of the T times from any lap, just not any full lap times or total race time.
