i wouldn't worry about them tapping you man, cause they don't have the speed to do so. :) only thing i worry about is rear ending the third place car, but with small fryz's suggestion it seems like i won't even have to worry about that. thanks small_fryz, good tip. 👍

S1 = Sports Hard
S2 = Sports Medium
S3 = Sports Soft
 
Finally something fast! Lots to improve but its a good start me thinks.

31.015 / 24.325 / 24.391
1'00.722 / 54.126 / 54.138

lap 2 was .19 slower than lap 3, so thats nice and consistent.

Lots left on the track but getting 3 fastest laps together in a ROW!! is no easy stuff.

another tip, enter the race with S3 tires and change them to S1 in quick tune (where you change the wieght) this way the AI has S3 tires and the 3rd place car can thus go through the 1st turn quicker!.

Thanks for the tip Small_Fryz 👍, just need to get Turn1 right and you can be in front by Turn 3. mmm now I just have to get the run thru there a bit more consistant :lol: ,
as well as the rest of the lap that is.
Liking the challenge of stringing 3 clean fast laps together, Great Combo CFM 👍

I had a 2 hour session and heres my progress so far

lap 1
T1 30.833

I went in time trial mode first before i did the race mode and here was my best T times after an hours practice

T1 23.812
T2 53.645

Obviously i'm not gonna do those sort of times in arcade race cause i'll probably crash no doubt.

Vehicle weight may not be verifiable at this time, but you can guarantee there's some of us saving replays up for the occasion when a GT3gEdit-like programme is available and these things MAY be checked...

Good tip about getting that car out of the way for turn 1... I hit it on both attempts this morning :ouch:
 
OK this is what I have after first 1h session - first clean race :):

AFAICS there is alot space to improve but it might be a probem at this week because there are holidays in POLAND at 01 and 03.05 and I will have to leave home at saturday or sunday so I wlll have to submit my time in next 60h :/ - not alot time to improve :/
CFM - great combo :) I want to withdraw my words about track - its nice to run especially with that car that setup and that GRAPHICS :)

In all fairness, the GT3 one wasn't exactly a simple affair...

There WILL be one. We have enough progamming-savvy people in the GT community who are interested in verification/hybrids. As long as the format is as easy to use as mk's format was, I'll be a happy bunny.
 
Thanks for the tyre tip small fryz 👍 It really helps on that first corner, although the third car is still usually in the way. Do we have to have the AI set on -10 or can we adjust it?

Alright. I only had an hour and a half to work on this for this week. I am going away in the morning for 6 days or so. Getting married and having a honeymoon is sure interfering with my racing life. Dang.

If you don't want to waste the credits, buy the car but don't get into it. The car will then appear in Arcade Mode for the duration of your play until you reset the console.

I second the idea of going into TT mode to fine tune your braking points and corner exits. Run your hotlaps there and then go to the race.
Not an easy combo IMO. i think my my fastest t1 is around 25.050 or something like that.

And T2 can eat your lunch if you get into the first tunnel with the car unbalanced. hello spin to the outside.
 
Just keep experimenting with the field they give you. The first 3 or 4 set of cars they gave me there was always one or two that are in the worst place possible to pass, in turn 1 and 2. Finally on my 4th. or 5th. try I got a field that I could pass at the best places. But once you leave the race you lose that group, just keep a note of that field and when you start making your final runs, keep restarting till you get that perfect field back, it makes a lot of difference. Thanks Small_Fryz , I'll try your tire deal and see how it fits in.
 
its almost like the AI is too slow :(

BTW seen 30.8xx T1 on 1st lap's
24.1xx T1 on flying laps
53.9xx T2 on flying laps

Just have to put it together and get a nice field :crazy:
 
yeah it is possible to pass every car within the first two turns with the right cars.

the best I could do on T1 for the first lap was in the 30's.

Feel a bit intimidated posting my poor Div3 times after Holl01's but here they are

This from the first clean race I managed after taking the advice of running in time trial to get used to the car on the track.

Hope to make up somemore time soon.

On the subject of the 'two wheels' rule, does it have to be front and back wheels have to be on the track, or can it be 'rear wheels' only?

Was playing around, seeing if it was possible to drift around that first corner, and keep speed above 110mph! Just having fun really. lol

Oh and thanks for the edit! What size is best for pics?
