I googled it and there are a few things missing here. your Ferrari is $275,000. Not only that it, it is a foriegn car. The Ford GT has more HP, more Torque, out performs and is about half the price of the F430. Here are the links to where i compared the two.

-----------------------nusso77I go it in the Extreme formula Gran turismo.....15 long races but it was worth it that car reall flies oh by the way everybody When u win or buy a new car take it for an oil change before driving it for free extra HP!!!!
QUESTION: When in Extreme Hall, after you've completed 3-4 races, can you shut the Playstation off and finish the rest of them later or do you have to leave the PS2 on, like when you're doing Nurburgring, LeMans, etc. When I turned it off last night it said "You will return here...." I turned if off and this evening all the ones I raced were gone. Thanks for any advice.

Ok, do the races you want. Then Save at the next race screen. If it doesn't allow you too, exit the championship, but make sure you don't quit it. Make sure you can come back later. If done right, at the top right, it will say what Championship you are in.
Go to Home Garage. Then go to save. Save, of course, and then shut the PS2 off. It should work fine.
QUESTION: I have turned off auto-save, and I went and bought an expensive car to test out, thinking I could just re-load the game off my memory card if I didn't like it.
However, I can't seem to find any way to "Load" Game. Can anyone help me so that I didn't just waste 800,000 credits?

I suspect you just wasted 800,000cr. Even with autosave off, the game saves every time you get into a new car in GT Mode. You'll see the save icon in the upper right while this happens.
I've test driven cars by purchasing them, NOT getting into them, then immediately backing out to Arcade mode and driving them there. If I want my money back, I reset the PS2 - that's how you do a 'Load Game'.

Does someone have a suggestion for the Grand Valley endurance race? I want to do it with a car that can do a decent job at getting the lead but also have a high number of aspec points.

I found it to be a worthy purchase, because that was the first LMP car I bought by accident, and I used that to get 1,500,000 more credits, bought the R8 and vomited on the spot over its supposed "handling".

i wish there were more D1GP cars... and at least one road track, like the ones in NFS 3/4... and please... get rid of those high rised spoilers...arghh.. but i guess thats all in GT5 .. and i cant confirm a PS3 until im like 25 in year 2010

So YOU can acctually drift without countersteer? If your not telling porkies and can do it properly, thats amazing.
Anyway, recently i got up to the 75% mark in GT4. I was wondering why you get a car at 25, 50 and 100% but not 75%

i knew that whn i first won it i saw him and it looked kinda of odd buti guess thats what happend when u put nike in a racing game nike car=

I'm not even trying to be funny.... that being said, heres my opinion. That nike car's odd shape looks sort of like a shoe, and since the guy is standing up, maybe the car is supposed to be some futuristic automobile shoe.

Day / Night (Dusk / Dawn) Endurance Racing.
Realistic Tyre Wear & Punctures if you run red for too long.
Performance Reduction after accident (cured with a trip to the pits?).
Increased Opposition AI (Fine while for position but sort out the backmarkers).
Splits for all competitors (scroll bottom screen).
More Can-Am's!! The Toy 7 is wild.
