Quick question: when you buy a set of wheels for your car can you put your standard ones back on.

Only if-
  • You find the wheel set in the used wheel lot
  • You change tyre type, for example, you have Sport Tyres with different rims. You'd have to buy Dirt, Snow or Racing tyres to get back the originals.

is the minolta fully moded good enough for the super speed way indurance
Should be just fine.

Im currently doing the gt championship. im doin well but some of the new tracks i am not good at like hong kong so i let b spec bob drive for me for half the race and i finished but i didnt get any a spec points even though i did 8 laps.
Will b spec bob get any points if we switch between a race?

Hey its me again with another question:

What does that arrow mean on B-spec mode. I thought it was to show the car behind was in your slipstream but the car is like 2600 ft from me!!. After seeing that i got a bit confused :boggled: :irked: :boggled:

There have been many assumptions as to what it means. I believe it is indicating that, that particular car is going through the sector faster than the prior lap.

From what I've seen, it just means the car has gone through the previous section faster than the car in front of it. That's why you won't see it on the lead car, there is no car in front of it to catch up to. It shows that the car was closing the gap to the car ahead over the previous sector, that's all.

I think your right. Well that cleared things up. thanks

Wait i dont think thats right either. What about when you pit your first and last sector times are longer but that arrow sign doesnt show for all the cars? and i dont think the arrow shows up consistently and is random like it may show up for a certain car twice in 1 sector.

I think im more confused now than before!! :boggled:

That must be why the car behind me never has the arrow :D

The game can be done with the DS2 no trouble. Do you use Manual Gears? If you don't it helps a lot to learn - especially for the licence tests and the missions (but you can do it with a DS2 and AT if you practice)

Just a random question, but has anyone let their car run out of gas during a race?

I was just thinking about it, and I may try it to see what happens if nobody else has done it.

Your car just runs at 50 kph or thereabouts until you pit and fill up - not a good idea on the 'ring.

If you think you are up to the task here is your chance to prove you are the best GT4 driver in the UK.

The offical PlaySation® GT4 UK Challenge will be held over three weeks: The winner will be the participant with the fastest time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife track using any car from the game.

Entry to the challenge commences on 20th May 2005 and closes on 8th June 2005 ("Closing Date").

After the Closing Date the participant with the fastest time will be contacted to send proof of their time to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe via a saved replay on PlaySation®2 Memory Card.

Check out the link to the competition and Good Luck!! http://www.gt4league.com/qualifying/

Guys, I'm currently running the F1 championship and I was wondering, how many races are they? I'm now on Laguna, race 10, and I saw people doing the Nurb so I suppose there is more than 10 rounds to the series but how much is there..?

15 races.

thought i'd try a post here instead of in the forum. a little while ago, i noticed something strange happening whilst playing gt4.
i was playing the game, and then i paused it and put my ds2 on the coffee table infront of my cellular phone. shortly after that i got a text message, as i lent over to get my phone, i thought i accidentally unpaused the game, so i hurridly grabbed my ds2 and re-paused the game. anyway, 5 minutes later, i got another text message, and again i thought i had accidentally unpaused the game as i lent over to get my cellular phone. i was a bit suspicious now though, and i decided to move my pad to the other side of my phone, and out of the reach of my clumsy hands.
another 5 minutes passed and i got another text message, and yet again the game unpaused itself. something was definatley not right! after some experimenting with my mates, i came to the conclusion that the phone itself had been unpausing the game with its radio frequencies! has anyone else noticed this strange phenomenon?

Has anyone noticed that if you go to the MG showroom and go to race event and go to the hong kong circuit, instead of showing MG cars racing, it shows 2 Golf Mach 1's
