Endurance Tokyo R246 300km HELP ME!

I did the Endurancerace Tokyo R246/300km a few times with the Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car but i can't do better than bronze.The problem is only that i need to pit a few times more than the AI-cars.My first pit is about round 19 but the AI cars pit for the first time about round 28 or something.I have installed super hard racing tyres.can i set up my car so i need less pit stops?

I can't really help you with your problem, but might I suggest the Suzuki GSX/R? Fully equipped it is a legend. Give it a shot.

Unfortunately, of all the "dream cars" PD conjured up for GT4, this is probably the worst of the lot. It handles poorly and eats tires. I'm not sure that you can win the event with this dog.

Two questions:

1. What other race cars do you have?

2. How much money do you have available to spend on another car?

i look tomorrow what other racing cars i have.but money is not really a problem.
i have now + 8.000.000 but don't want to buy a car more than 2.000.000
can you suggest me another competitive car,not an easy winner?

Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 (lightened, stiffened, racing tires) (what I used the first time)
Nissan R390 GT-1 Road Car (with wing)
Suzuki GSXR/4 (fully done up)
Also, if you have a JGTC car already, you can use that, but don't buy one for the race, as they cost twice as much as they should.

Okay... try this... if you're still using the NSX-R LM Proto...

Raise the rear shock bound to 9, then the rear rebound to 10... this aught to keep those tires planted, even at a fast pace...

Now add TCS to about 6

Finaly, set your breaks to 3 front and 2 back... this will shift most of the breaking to the front tires, preserving the rears for acceleration... should get you a few more laps at the very least...

You could also try the Audi A4 touring car. With the car in stock form I had a good close race against JGTC cars. The AI pit strategy during this enduro really had me sweating a couple times!

Yeah, but that would be only putting a bandage on a severed arm. The NSX-R Race car is a huge piece of crap, mostly due to a total lack of downforce (the normal street car with a wing produces only slightly less). It would be better to use a better car.

It really is doubtful that you can win with that car, no matter what the settings.

I recommend you try either the Corvette C5-R or the Team Oreca Viper, with these settings:

Bad news kane2_be, but checking my records that's the exact car I used to win that Enduro! Mostly because that's about all I had at the time. Been quite a while so I don't remember the particulars but I "Might" be able to come up with my set-up as I don't think I ever used it anywhere else...O.G.

nah, i finish it by one lap lead

my setting and everything is total stock, but with R1 all around


just give you hint in all kind of cars: when you go for big dip (in middle of track) let go of gas, so you won't spin and/or destory the tires by powerslide,

you know, zig-zag road that go down, then turn left to go up and then right

i won this race on thursday with a BMW M3 GTR Race Car. Competition: Mazda RX-7 Lm race car, a few JGTC NSX's, a jGTC Supra, and another M3 GTR race car.
Funny thing is before entering the race, i didnt have enough money to buy Super-hard racing tires. So i entered the race with the stock tires on the M3 that only lasted 11 laps, (5 pit stops whole race) Luckily the M3 was fast and me and the B-spec driver were hitting laps 3 secs. faster than the other racers! In the end the RX-7 that was leading had one more stop to make and lucky me, (in second) took advantage and led the last 5 laps to VICTORY! whew that's it JFM out.

oh, u didn't say anything about it, all you say is about pitstop, i think this baby can go 25 or 30, not sure yet, OH! by the way, NO DRIVING AIDS! i hated it

Motivated by this thread, I went ahead and ran this race for the first time, using my old war-horse CLK Touring Car, which has 7400 miles on it.

I B-Specced it, used stock power (454 HP), R2/R2 tires, and a speed setting of "4". Bob had to pit on laps 19, 38, and 57, and won by just 9 seconds, barely beating the Motul Pitwork Z.

The car had these settings:

SR - 13.4 / 14.8
RH - 52 / 57
SB - 4 / 6
SR - 5 / 7
Cam - 2.0 / 2.0
Toe - 0 / 0
Stab - 5 / 5
DF - 38 / 53
LSD - 10/40/10
ASM - 0 / 0
TCS - 3
BB - 3 / 3
Autoset - 1
Final Drive - 3.60

By the end of the race it was down to 427 HP.

(Bob was also up against the Opel Astra, the Cerumo Supra, the Zexel GT-R, and the Opel Calibra.)

You are lucky you werne't up against the RX-7 LM - those bad boys are quick. they tend to beat all the JGTC cars quite easily. Not sure of their pit strategy - but i seem to recall them staying out longer than anyone else. I do love the RX-7 LMs and am collecting them. does anyone know how many different colours of them there are? I think i have a few orange, a few blue and one black beast (probably my favourite car atm).
