yeah ... Brock5000's SLR does look great
I think he will get picked since that's what exactly speedy_samurai looking for

LOL That's what I was thinking, when it was my week to pick I even told some one I liked thier HM over their Final Entry, and they didn't change it LOL

I'm going to assume Photo Travel is ok. If it's not, I'll change my entry :) And swissbear, you can clearly see the logo on the trunk in the full-size picture ;) I'd block off the license plate completely if I could, but that's against the rules.

I'd like to point out that my entry's supposed to focus on the SS badge rather than the Chevy license plate... Don't know too many carmakers with the SuperSport badge.

I'm still sure it won't make top20, but nevertheless, felt it needed a clarification. :)

Thanks for the words of encouragment everyone, it took a while to get that shot just right and I'm happy with the way it turned out.

The SLR does have a great nose, no numberplate! ;)

Yeah, I'm not sure what swissbear was talking about. I looked back through the entries and couldn't find a single one that only showed the license plate rather than actual badging.

Examples:

I wasn't pointing out just the license plates. I mentioned those because some of the photos were leaning that way where the license plate was more obvious than the badging and/or emblem. The above examples are kinda what I was driving at. If Speedy says those are good then I'm obviously am talking out my rear. But, those don't show any kind of emblem or badge. Just a thought. Not flaming anyone or discrediting their photo. Just pointing out the differences in interpitation.

They are nice photos BTW.

Ah, I see. Only the actual competition title says "badges" though, the rest just says markers indicating the car model/make, so I think they're fine :) Besides, a lot of cars' actual badges are too low of resolution to get a good picture of, and those stickers and such are a nice change of pace :)

Still wondering if Photo Travel is allowed :) (please say yes, please say yes...)

fly? I don't know about that
but don't fly in NYC
I don't wanna see it crash into a building ;)

HAHA! I meant, will it pass by the rules! Ya know, Will it fly! I think that car would fly though if it had wings!

It does have a wing! Two, actually, one on the front and one on the back. Although it's not a triple-decker like on a sweet  civic :yuck: so maybe that's why it doesn't take off. Not enough lift. Ok, that's way off-topic, sorry...Speedy needs to check in and tell us if our entries are legal...

I think they should be allowed as long as we can clearly see the car model or manufacturer's names. The license plates should be allowed in the contest, and if they look good they will get votes, if they look bad they won't get any votes. With our ford gt pictures I think we were just trying to do something different than show the ford badge on the front of the cars. I figure if some kind of identifying logo or badge is legible on the car, it should be allowed.

Nice shot, g-man! And Jetta, i like them the way you have it, I'd stick with the Elise shot :)

Cool, thanks! You just sealed the deal. If I didn't get a good comment just out of the blue, I had a runner up for toward the end of the comp. :)
