Exhibition Room of Speedy Samurai UPDATED 10-01-06! JAPAN MOTORSPORTS SHOW!

Div is back
That first picture looks a lot like something I've done...but anyway, I love the pic where you see half of the Mclaren and the Merc in the back, nice composition.

Thanks Div and everyone! I imagine, with the amount of pictures that Div has shown us in his gallery, that almost any picture I take will be reminiscent of his. And that is not a bad thing.

My first attempt at creating an ad. What do you think? Does it make you want to buy a car, or just download a music track?

You have it in the PAL version. I should know, I'm Finnish and I have that car 👍

I frequently visit your gallery, Ken. Along with many others. It is where I can get more ideas and inspiration, and of course, just admire sweet, sweet pictures.

So I figured I should learn to drift properly. Yes, I have gotten my car sideways before, with all the smoke, but was I actually in a controlled drift? No. I went to the great Drift Forum we have here on GTPlanet and studied up on drifting and the various techniques. Then I chose my drift weapon. I picked the Honda S2000 '99. I used the settings provided by the revered Droptop Chick and off I went to Apricot Hill.

Not a controlled drift. I was all over the place to start.

After a lot of that, I finally started getting a little of this:

And then, finally!

Success!

I had a great time on this track. It is a great layout for both grip racing and drifting. And I love my little Honda!

p.s. Has anyone else noticed the changing billboard on the straight of Apricot Hill?

That's the feel-good hit of the fall!

The first few pics illustrate my drifting skill. Great shots.

Thanks, Spyker, I still suck though.

Hey, if I drive both grip and drift does that make me a grifter or a dripper?

Started taking photos for week 30 of the Photomode Competition. Just couldn't stop and ended up with all these pictures. Hope you like them as much as I do.

The Lotus Elise

The TVR Griffith 500

And last, but certainly not least, the Caterham Fireblade!

There we go. That's the lot. If anyone out there viewing my gallery thinks that I upload too many pics at one time, please do not hesitate to voice your opinion. I want everyone to enjoy looking at my updates and not be scared of them.

i like your drift pics. i've yet to master it in GT4, although i have been out on a drift day at the track although it was as probably sucessful as my GT4 attempts. most of my pics are drifts that end up pretty badly, but i capture the right moment before i lose control completly.

I admire your effort to learn it properly, and I thinkI might go do the same now that you have inspired me to.

btw i like your lotus shots.

Or me, gripping so fast it often turns into a low-angle but very fast drift?

Stupid pd, I WANT THAT CAR 👎 👎 👎
They should close your thread, Your causing people to get depressed. 🤬 :irked: :banghead:

A bit too much black and white for my taste but the pics are great

It is difficult to imagine myself as an inspiration to others but I am glad that my photographs evoke feelings from people. I must say learning to drift is not as easy as I thought it would be but it is a great feeling when you can control your car past the tires' limits.
