Exhibition Room of Speedy Samurai UPDATED 10-01-06! JAPAN MOTORSPORTS SHOW!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Being rather new to the photoshop experience, it took me over 100 layers to make the roadster, but I was learning as I went and could probably lessen that by a good 20 layers or so. It was enjoyable the whole time!

How exactly did you do it then? Looks awesome by the way 👍

I took photos of the Zonda and the Merc SL65 AMG from the same angle.
Then I cut the top off the Zonda and put the Mercs interior on
then assembled the Zonda's windscreen etc.
It wasn't so clean and dry though. I had to fix some things.
half of the passenger seat was assembled by me using pieces of the drivers seat.

However, the background started to look bad so I took 2 pictures of the background with a small car like the daihatsu. Then using those 2 picture made one background. Then cut away the car and placed it on the new background.

PANNING!

Trial Celica

The 400R

Lancia Stratos

These were taken for the Photomode 2.0 week 4 competition themed 'panning'. Yes, I will concede that some of the shots aren't technically pans but I was predicting I would make them pans using photoshop.

Crazy Japan fact#1: There is 1 vending machine for every 22 people in Japan.

The Lancia set is my favorite of those. It really fits the course well, and the color stands perfectly.

thanks everyone. I picked that color for the Lancia because it is the same color as one I saw driving down the street. For me, if I see a car from GT4 driving down the street I have to go buy that car in that color. Makes for a rather full garage.

Thought I'd include some more supercar pictures.

The VW Nardo (or 'the cockroach' as my wife calls it.)

The lovely Ford GT.

The Saleen S7.

The Jaguar XJ220.

I was trying to get good shots of their respective powerplants but some were better than others.

More to come. I love my supercars!

Yeah, nice one's on the Nardo and the GT. Don't really care about the Saleen or the Jag. They just look horrible. (Not your pics, just the cars in general :sly: ) The second GT looks very nice. 👍 Keep it up!

A beloved RUF.

I took these with plans to use them for 'panning/drifting' shots but wasn't really satisfied with the results.

...So many awesome shots in one gallery. I particularly like those of the four supercars shown above. Great work speedy 👍 👍

Thanks Jacoja and everyone else. I have been looking long and hard through lots of everyone's galleries to get ideas before starting mine. There is some great work displayed here at GT Planet.
