Gran Turismo 7 and GT Sport User Interface Fan Art

It's not far off the website styling to be fair; that clean, refined look is certainly the kind of thing Polyphony would go for.

@Hallitrd's mockups are neat but I don't see them working as hypothetical GT Sport or Gran Turismo 7 UIs; they'd be more in-line with how Polyphony may have done things for Gran Turismo 2, or Capcom for Auto Modellista. These days the series tries to be state-of-the-art, and wouldn't go down the nostalgia route outside of perhaps some classic elements like sound effects.

Maybe Hallitrd makes the retro designs with the context of "If GT7 had a retro styled UI, this is my take on it". They are really well made, regardless. I get what you mean, though, they likely wouldn't go for that nowadays unless it was a retro section of the game.

Now some real GT7 UI fanart. This is my take on the Circuit Experience. They're divided in course type (World, Original, City, Dirt/Snow) and then subdivided in tiers. The Original Circuits section has the blue background, while World Circuits have the red background and so on, as a little reference to GT4.

Elegance design and has the modern GT look, clean and subtle.

They're good for what they are; I just feel they don't fit the brief the thread's title proposes :)

This is very good but the "Learn More>>>" text looks a bit tacky. Just having an arrow would work. I mean, it's Circuit Experience so it goes without saying that you're going to learn about the track.

Agreed. The way it's designed makes it look website-ish, and not much like a video game UI. But other than that, it looks really clean.

Inspired by Gran Turismo 4’s Home Screen whilst using elements from GT Sport.

Moving away from GT7’s rounded design language for a more sharp design, and I am going for a slate-based colour palette composed with beige and while elements.

Hi Guys,
Fantastic UI designs, Paul! It seems like you've elevated the GT6 UI to a whole new level. I'm eager to try my hand at creating one myself. I just need to enhance my GIMP skills a bit more, but I've already practiced in a few areas. Your work is truly inspiring.

Some concepts of ‘Brand Central’ showcasing various brand dealerships.

1. Each time a player enters a brand’s dealership, a new car is promoted within a monochromatic studio location similar to Gran Turismo: SPORT.

2. The camera with follow the lines of the car, allowing the car’s features and colours to act as the Brand’s design canvas.

SwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT!

I forgot that I made these a while back and initially posted them on TwitX. They're not entirely brand new designs, but my ideas on how I would fix or adjust GT7's menus.

Altered garage where the garage spaces you could seen in menus when going idle become back spaces. Plus a new option to explore the space and view your car.

Note: I actually remade the icons myself. The ones at the bottom I mean.

Slight fix to GT Auto's paint menu. Now you can view how a color looks on your car before buying it. I even went and remade the preview graphic.

and if I had it my way, the original GT7 Main menu would've looked like this.

This was a redesign of GT World being more like a regular GT mode again with way more events.

A slight change to the event cards. I actually went in and recreated the original event logos.

Very nicely done dude, I especially love the League menu design and having your car sitting in your house/garage menu, thats kinda cool. :D

@Stefan Clift they are fabulous and brilliantly polished. I look forward to seeing more in the future. 👏

Thank you both, it’s mostly portfolio work for myself but looking forward to finding more free time to work on some other UI segments!

That home garage is something I’ve wanted for a long long time! Something similar to GT Sport where you could change/buy other locations would be awesome. Great work

Hello there, it's been months since anyone posted here. Nearly a year as a matter of fact, but I made this thing and wanted to share it somewhere.

I decided this will be a start to a series of new GT menus I will design, using GT7's current U.I. as a base, but evolving it. Also using these designs as a way to sort of showcase my dream Gran Turismo game.
Gran Turismo Dream - Brand Central.png

Now about the top info UI:
- Color swap, I was thinking about how GT5 & 6 had the same U.I. essentially, but GT6 swapped the colors. So, that's what happened here, I even changed the gradient used for the credits.
- The collector's level being higher than 50 isn't a mistake, I liked GT7's collection level idea since car collecting is a bit part of GT. But I found it odd that PD decided the cap it at level 50 when that game had over 420 cars and launch and now has over 500. Since my dream GT title especially would have way more cars than that, it goes up.
- For the brands themselves, I was trying to use the newer logos including a lot of the simplified logos some brands are doing now.
- Also, I thought it would be better to just have every brand selectable instead of picking a region first. Then just be able to filter the region, make, model, or do a search instead to get precise. I'll probably get rid of the model filter, feels wierd to have it here, but I needed a 3rd option.

EDIT:
I just finally found this again, a little title screen I made for fun and posted on TwitterX a while back.
Gran Turismo Dream Start Screen.png

Also on another note, I recreated more old Gran Turismo game menus for fun throughout last year.

I think I remade the icons myself for GT1, but I outsourced for the cars on display and the logos. I got the logos from different websites, though I had to make some edits to the color. For the cars, they're all Assetto Corsa mods, I took pictures of them in the custom showroom via AC Content Manager. You can basically set it to where the cars can have transparent backgrounds, which gave me the idea to do these.

and I made this short video recreating Gran Turismo 3's car dealer. In which I haven't gotten around to recreating the other menus...darn it!
