GT4 Photomode 2.0 Advanced Competition wk. 9

Seems theres a lot of pics of the Falcon XR8 race car. ( Is that the only car in gt4 that will be in the race?)

The falcon XR-8 is an old model that competed 2 or 3 years ago now as it's based on the outdated AU model falcon. Unfortunalty GT4 doesn't have any other cars from V8 Supercars series... although It is only a two manufaturer race. The other vehicle that races in the series (but never made it in to GT4) is the Holden Commadore.

BTW i've updated my final entry (post 30)

Most of us believe the falcon can show aussie spirit the best
I guess we should try to look for similar cars that run 24hrs Bathurst

or let's photoshop the TM monkey to a koala  👍

I knew the falcon was going to get used a bunch....so I tried to fill the "I6" catagory to change it up a bit. :)

When I saw Bathurst style and I6, I just had to go with "Godzilla".

UPDATED! FINAL ENTRY

If you have an imagination, I'm going up Mountain Straight with Hell Corner in the background.

Damn, I admit I never really knew much about Bathurst before this comp, but I found a pretty good website here
All I have to say now is they HAVE to put this track in GT5 so I can fly down the dipper and crash horribly. 👍 One of the coolest tracks I've ever seen.

I hope there isnt bias toward the few cars entered that dont really run the race...
because if the falcon is prefered...I will reshoot.

Its hard to simulate a race when your not on that track and not using a car that runs the race.

No, it will not matter what sort of car you use, as long as it fits the rules. If all the top 10 happen to have foreign cars in them, then that is just because those are the best shots.

I just want it to look like part of the Bathurst track, regardless of what car you have picked.

I have no idea if it looks like somewhere in Bathurst

Well, I'm guanna give this a try. :nervous:

I'm not to good at PS, and I have very limited knowledge of the Bathurst 1000, but I hope these fit the theme. I'm not sure about the quality though. Comments would be really helpful, because I would like to expand on my PS skills. :)

Final Entry - Updated :nervous:

PREVIEW:

well that huge sign kind of messes up the pic, it blocks out a lot of the pic. And I think there Is a rule that you can have only I-6 engines

I6's or V8's. But isn't that GT LM based on the concept car anyways and not the production one (due to it's double fuel filler caps, headlights and abesnse of a rear bumper)?

The second one does look a bit like the start of the pit straight at bathurst, and it's not a bad shot, however you do need to adjust the levels to bring the brightness and colours out. If you have the time to learn how to use the layers & filters it would be great to give the wire mesh a bit of a blur. Have a look at this tutorial :)
