... It looks simular to the corkscrew bends on Bathurst.

the only thing missing is the concrete barrier.... but it's probably the closest i'll manage to get it too look like bathurst.....

@ spyker, nice one.... that looks like the straight, right after turn 1.... and the hill in the background sort of reminds me of Mt Panorama.... 👍

FINAL ENTRY 👍

Not 'Totally Awesome', but I was just trying to capture the Bathurst Feeling 👍

Where do you get that Race car Corvette?!?  It's freaking awesome!

Great pics guys! I'm going to work on my PS skills and I might enter one of these in the following weeks. These pics are just sick!

the corvette? i won it.. i dont remember where. lol i know they have a list up there..

edit--found it Corvette Festival : CHEVROLET Corvette Stingray Coupe (C2) '63

I'm very busy, but I did manage to take some shots just now. I'll try to have one brushed up tonight. It's pretty nice actually :D

I only know Bathurst from a download for Sports Car GT. Superb game! despite it's considerable age.
Very nerve-devouring track though :P

well living in Sydney does have it's advantages..... have on a few occasions taken the stones throw of a trip to bathurst (four hours of driving) just to drive on the track.

It's actually a public road when not being used for racing. And it can be nearving heading down the mountain with the tyres sqeeling away and thinking those bloody concreate barriers are just a little too close for comfort. :sly:

haha.. people around here change lanes [on the freeway] to avoid being close to the cement barriers that are there during construction... i dont, i know how big my car is :D

hehe i know what you mean... considering people in general spend so much time in thier cars, you'd think they have at least a basic feel to the size of thier vehicle... although i did just watch someone hit a concrete poll in the shopping centre car park last night whilst they were trying to park, **** that was funny.... the track at bathurst on the other hand is about a max 3 car widths wide at the top section of the mountain... and with a full grid of large racing sedans, there is not alot of room for error... i guess thats half the excitment of watching it .... and there are always alot of crashes.

Hey I'm actually practicing for my driving licence, hehe.
Exciting moments... I'm using a Peugeot 106.
I'm just sick of those manual gears :grumpy: :irked: :banghead: 🤬 :boggled:
(you know in Europe, manual is the norm)

Well, I managed to produce an entry (based on what I know of Bathurst).
I don't know how correct the landscape is though, but I do know the track has "a" landscape (point de vue) :P
As I said, don't have much time these days...

Final Entry:

EDIT: (added) Honorable Mention:

And of course there is always the odd Kangaroo, which faces road kill during the race. Poor things. (There has already been a Roo yesterday, which face planted just a few meters away from one of the V8’s :scared: )

Edit: Oh wow... which track is that Melaneimoon? Looks very simular to bathurst 👍

Yea, it probably sucks to learn to drive with a manual. ( I learned on my mom's minivan :yuck: ) But when I bought my truck, which is manual, and learned how to drive it I knew that I would never own an automatic transmission in my life.

Nice one atlop 👍
There's something about it that feels like southern France though :P, But I better shut up since I don't really know anything about Bathurst.
I assume that's deep forest?

Mine's taken on midfield reverse, right after the main straight. Althought the "steepness" of that area didn't quite work out the way I hoped. Here's another shot (a HM I suppose) of the area, but a bit earlyer (where the track is better, but the left side rocks block the view).

> I've put it up in my previous post.

It looks really nice, your HM! And I am with Arsenal, I will never drive an automatic car again in my life! It's gota be manual! I too learned on a manual, and you just have to get use to it!👍

Lol, yes I suppose that forest has had a bit too much rain lately to look australian... deep forest it is.

EDIT: Umm, I did not say anything about gearbox, but I agree though, manual must be! 👍
