Week 23 winner JTSnooks

themebanner6ds.jpg

This week’s theme will be "Rareties" as chosen by week 24 winner JTSnooks.

Further explanation of theme:
Submit pictures of a rarely photographed car at a rarely photographed location. For example, an R34 GT-R getting air over the first jump at the Nurburgring would not win.

Cars: Anything not often seen. JTSnooks will be looking for mostly European cars or Classic cars, but these are not guidelines, so don't let that limit you.
Tracks: Any

Phototravel will not be allowed this week.

I like this theme. I have some used cars in my carage that I have not used for anything, time to take some of them to a nice photodrive session. :)

Thx PB. I think i may have overdone it a bit though. I might change it, if i can get something better.

No not at all. I think your shot looks fantastic tf. Perfect detail, very smooth, and nice contrast. And the blur looks nice as well. Except, this might be your preference, but I think it would be even better if you got rid of the ghost car caused by the motion blur. But that's just my taste, sooo... It still looks great anyway.👍

Some good entries so far, people seem to be getting the theme pretty well. Good job, can't wait to see what pops up later this week! :)

It doesn't get much rarer than this car!

Awsome pic aresenal, definitely the best so far! :dopey:

Thanks! I thought the Model T would look out of place at the corkscrew, but was still surprised how well this car was able to handle a track like Laguna Seca. Truly one of the greatest cars ever made.

I don't know what you mean Yoda. I went through your gallery and while I saw a shot similar, it's far from exact.

But since we're on the topic; Duck, I don't find the picture very standout-ish. Standard angle, not a whole lot of contrast, and it just gives the feeling that you weren't trying too hard. It's a shame, because I know the R390 Road Car can look good on Hong Kong.

Arsenal - Top shot! I was tempted to use the Model T, good thing I didn't. It's so vibrant, and what a perfect turn for it (even though that course was built a good 40 or 50 years after the car ;))!
