This week’s theme will be "Your First Car" as chosen by week 28 winner Revolution.

Further explanation of theme:
Right, I saw this theme suggested in the PD Tournament, and I thought that it was a great idea for a PMC theme. So, take your first (purchased) car(if you've sold it, buy it back :)), and get shooting! Any track is fine, as is any phototravel location.
Clarification: By first car I mean the first car you purchased with your hard-earned credits. I don't mind if you used GT3 transferred credits/credits from selling bonus cars, etc, so long as you use the first car you purchased.

Cars: Your First Car
Tracks: Any. Phototravel is fine.

Post your final entry in red letters. Such as “Final Entry”
A preview image may be used, but it may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels by either photo orientation.
You may have two honorable mentions if a preview image is not used.
You may change your Final Entry once. If if you do so, please edit your original entry make a new post linking to it.
Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
Do not post more than three photos in this thread.
Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack and have the thumbnail picture.

Burn tool
Dodge Tool

Clone Stamp Tool (for removing watermark)
[Note:No plug-ins for any of the above adjustments or filters are to be used]


You can use layers for overlay and layer adjustments, but not to alter the geometry and original subject matter of the picture: like adding stickers and body kits, and objects that are not in the original image

Quick question; is it first purchased, or first owned? Because if it's first owned there's a lot of Lupo's coming... ;).
 
first purchased for me was a 3rd gen rx7 of some sort ... so, i brought a little money with me from gt3, bfd! ;)
 
Unfortunately I think I could have a slight advantage because I carried my GT3 credits over and started out with a brand new NSX type S zero. Please let me know if this isn't allowed :guilty:
 
Well, technically my first purchased car was an STi Spec-C, since I used bonus cars to win the RSC Rally Raid car to sell for cash ;).
 
First car = first car ever put in garage.

I think alot of people used GT3 money, so i'm sure its fine. Besides you can make some very unique pics with crappy cars.

I still have my first car. '91 Skyline GT-R. Only bad thing is that its in black.
 
First car ever put in garage? There will be many Lupos that's for sure. Perhaps the first car purchased would be a better idea.
 
Okay, I did mean first car purchased. I don't mind if people used GT3 Credits/credits used from selling licence cars/credits from bonuse cars won with licence cars, etc, so long as it is the first car you've purchased.
I'll try to put something along those lines into the first post :)
 
Well, not necessarily, eg the first car in my (and I'm sure a lot of people's)garage was the VW Lupo (won from Bronze-ing the National B Licence), which I promptly sold and purchased a Nissan Silvia S15.
 
Hey, that was my theme suggestion!:) I kind of wanted, (when I suggested the theme) a bunch of cheap, used cars that you could only buy with 30,000 Cr. (or whatever you start out with without transfering GT3 credits over) I wish PD would not have done that. It ruins the GT experience of starting out with a crappy car and gradually adding better parts to make it faster. For instance, my first car was a dark grey 88' Celica GT-R. Not a terribly slow car, but nothing close to a fast car at all. I probably raced with it for a couple days, gradually adding parts to make it faster until I could afford someting nice.

But no big deal. I guess that if you transfered in GT3 credits, you can buy a nice car, and I suppose a nice car was your first car.👍
 
Hmmm, I think this'll be the third time I've taken pictures of my Spec-C for a comp, heh.

It seems the STi wasn't the first car I bought. Judging by the dates, I must've saw my Estoril Blau Metallic M Coupe in the used lots and snatched it up before I bought my dream car. Hmmmm... :D
 
Since GT1 I'm used to buy a Toyota AE86, but with the credits from GT3, this is what I bought first :
