This list will show what I think are the 10 biggest rip offs in Gran Turismo 4.
10 Biggest Rip Offs.
1st - Nissan Skyline Sport Coupe (BLRA-3)
Price - 320,000
You Could Buy - A TVR Griffith 500 and fully modify it.
Where do I start with this? Not even 100 Bhp, can't reach 100 Mph either. This car gets beaten by Ginetta G4's, even Volkwagen Karmann Ghias can beat it, the Skyline Sport Coupe is the biggest rip off in Gran Turismo 4.
2nd - Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Price - 224,000
You Could Buy - A BMW M5 with over 100,000 change.
This big Aston Martin bought in the used 90's lot is the second biggest rip off in Gran Turismo 4, it gets beaten by Ford Mustangs and Lotus Elises, despite having 500 Bhp it's extremelly heavy, and it's cornering is crap, I can't think of a good word to describe this car.
3rd - Audi Auto Union V16 Streamline
Price - 500,000
You Could Buy - A Ford Falcon XR8 with change.
First, you can win it, second, you can only drive it on Nurburgring, Free Run mode, so you can't race it either, there is'nt really much point in this car, it has
very bad cornering aswell.
4th - Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3
Price - 631,680
You Could Buy - A Ford GT with nearly 500,000 change.
Although fast, the Ford GT is no slower, and it costs under 150,000.
Go for the GT.
5th - Panoz Esprante GT-1
Price - 4,500,000
You Could Buy - A Mazda 787b with 1,000,000 change, a Toyota GT-ONE.
The Panoz is a great car, it looks brilliant aswell, but for 4,500,000, you can buy cars in the LMP class, with some you might even get some change.
6th - Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car
Price - 1,000,000
You Could Buy - A Ford GT and fully modify it.
The R390 Road Car is brilliant, but for 1,000,000, it's not worth it, go for a cheaper option and fully modify it.
7th - Chevrollet SSR
Price - 44,560
You Could Buy - Ford Lightning, Dodge RAM Hemi.
You can get
much better pick up trucks for less money, I do not reccomend the SSR to anyone in need of a fast pick up truck, it may look fast, but it's really the complete oppasite.
8th - BMW Z4
Price - 75,610
You Could Buy - A Buick Special with change.
I love this car, but I don't see the point in the 75,000 price tag, it dose'nt even have 250 Bhp, it has less, it gets beaten by some Nissan Silvas which cost way under 20,000.
9th - Citoreon C5 Exclusive
Price - 42,830
You Could Buy - A BMW 330i
Go for a BMW 330i which is better than the Citoreon is every way, I could'nt find anything good about this car, although it still costs quite alot.
10th - Alfa Romeo Spider 3.0i V6 24V
Price - 51,190
You Could Buy - A HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 with change.
I don't see the point of this car, for the Italian Cup use a Fiat Coupe, for the Roadster Cup use a Lotus Elise, and it costs over 50,000.
Stay away from it.
Enjoy.
