It's the same for me, I had not played GT4 for a few months and than I got
back on GTP to find out that SBC would get the email from GTP so I could
finish my signup so I could post here. And when I got joined up with the WRS
I can not even stop my self from racing here. I don't even think I could stop
coming to GTP at all or I would go mad.

Hi everyone!

My name is Jonas, alias Snowstorm. I'm a 24 year old male from Borlänge, Sweden. I just found out about the WRS and did the qualifying race earlier this evening. So from here on I'm going to be joining you in the WRS as often as I can.

A litte about me then:
I work at the Coast Guard as a radar-/radio-operator, keeping a hawk-eye on the maritime trafic in the baltic sea. I've been at the CG for a bit over three years now. Before that I was a MP sergeant in the Finnish marine (I'm a Finnish citizen, just moved to Sweden 6 months ago). I have been a competitive swimmer for the last ten years.

I've always been interested in motorsports and gaming, so GT is a perfect mash-up. I also love driving, both cars and motorcykles. I curently have a Volvo 850 SE -94 that I use for the winter season and for the sommer season I drive a BMW F650 GS Dakar -01 (to be posted later in the 'Show us your rides' thread). Drove the 'Ring' last summer in my BMW 328iM -96, one of the best driving experiences I've had =) I have a few 'expeditions' planned for the bike so if your interested check out my site (not yet online) for more details.

Regarding my GT experiences I'm realy not that good. I haven't played that mutch so it's going to be interesting to see how I stand up to you guys. Don't think I'm going to have mutch chance against you thoug.

See you on the race track!

Hi Jonas and Welcome to the WRS 👍

Can't wait to see some pics of those rides you got, they sound sweet and I know we're all envious of the fact you've actually driven the 'ring

Feel free to jump into the current race whenever you're ready and we all look forward to racing with you 👍

Welcome danda, yes this is a cool:tup:(and huge:scared:) site. When I could

And you can find almost anything here which makes it nice because you will
almost always find something to do or look at. I hope you have fun here:cheers:.

thanks guys, im enjoying the site loads, if im not playing GT im on here, oh yea or watching top gear, anyway i will be ordering a max drive on tuesday and cant wait to get down to business, look forward to seeing you out on track 👍

Im not exactly new to the WRS, but never gave a proper introduction, so here it goes:

Im alex, ill leave my age a black for now for some other reasons, but im under 18. Ive played GT ever since it came out. I played GT2 the most because it was the funnest of all of the GT's I guess. I make pizzas for a living:dunce: pretty cool place. I have a little passion of racing outside of video games:

Some onboard video I hooked up on it

Well, I in Div. 3 ans I dont have any friends that play GT, well a few, but they aren't good at it to say the least

Favorite cars include:

Well, there are to many to list, but anything that has a PWR of around 2.7 is in my list

Im trying to phase out my DS2 and get used to my DFP

And if anyone is wondering, my quickest time around the ring is 5'59.XXX in the GT1

There, people know me now, well kinda

Cool. Sprint cars are pretty nuts! Is that you driving? Or just a video of it that you found?

That is great Alex, i would have left a present on the seat if that were me thou :scared: :embarrassed:.
Man that looked scary but fun too.

I don't know, it looks like fun:), and my 3-wheeler is scary if I drive it hard.
Like one of these?

Hahaha, just kidding. What DO you mean though?

I have a 1985 Honda ATC 350X, stock it makes 27HP and dry weight is 320LB.
But when I got it, it already had a performance exhaust on it. And I have put
a performance air filter on it, changed the gearing and did some fine tuning.
I don't know the hoserpower now, but it's fast. I will see if I can get some
pictures up so you can see what it looks like.

Yeah, we also have a '84 fourtrax 250 quad we use to start them up. not sure what the power is on it, but its ok for an 84

That looks fun OD...What kind of engines do those things run? They look like go-karts on steriods? :D

Darren.

I think they banned 3 wheelers in the states. You don't see them anymore. Just quads. I remember I ran over my leg while trying a 3 wheeler for the first time as a kid. I was still on it and my leg was pinned under the rear tire.

I kept on trying to put my feet down like I was on a motorcycle. Been frightened of 3 wheelers ever since... :sly:

Yes they did ban them, but only to sell them new, you can still buy an old one.
And about how your leg got pulled under by the rear wheel, my dad had that happen
to him once. But after he got up he jump on it and started to ride again:).
Anyways here is some pictures of my 3-wheeler:D.

Now it may not be the best one around, but I always liked things that run good more
than thing that look good. I took the pictures on are track behind are house.
And here are some spec's on it too-

1985 Honda ATC 350X
Engine- 350.4cc SOHC
Transmission- 6 Speed
Drivetrain- Chain Drive, Straight Axle

Well, the most powerful quad ive driven was a polaris 250 2stroke. It was maginly faster than the 84 AIR COOLED 250, an it was an auto:tdown:

PS, ive been waiting for a good combo for me for the WRS so I can do good, something im good at

:P Well, you can never be good at something until you practice it. And by doing that, you'll become a better overall driver as well.

Good is a respective word... Good in comparison to what? You should be comparing yourself to yourself, or pick another D3 driver to compete with each week.

Since im in school now and I have work, not much time to play GT4, and if that wasnt enough, I live in 2 different houses, only one has GT4

But as far as my competitiveness goes, me and gingiba(sp?) seem to be somewhat close if I remember correctly.

I guess im only good at some of the original curses because I know them the best. If I get a good FR car at midfeild, I can do some good damage (in GT mode, the setting really help) and that what I can do the best, so for the time being, I havent seen to many combos im my have done well in( week 82 was good for me, learning wise)

Hi to all...

I just finished with my A-spec points chase, and finally made AR to work with USB stick...

Since it'll be some time till we all see GT5 I figured I could give WRS a try...
I'll do Qualifying race this days... till then

Good luck Fizio 👍 I suspect with all those A-Spec points you'll be pretty quick behind the wheel too :sly:

Still like that stuff, but it's either 2 or 4 wheels for me. Years later, I went and bought this:

Niiiiice Jake. What year is that? We have a dealer accross the street from where I work. I love it! Hearing the bikes go by all day long, oh man, it's great. I just need to make my lil 250 Ninja louder so I can sound like that, to some extent, lol, as well.

It's a 2003, 620cc. I found it on ebay! I added the Termignoni exhaust cans and it sounds amazing....

I've thought about getting a bike before but I reckon I'd end up killing myself, I need the shell of a car for security I think :sly: 👍
