I've seen many themes for WB that have that blurry glass look. Personally, I don't think any of them really look like glass, but whatever.

Ah, okay. The reason I ask is because I always thought crystal-clear glass with a dark drop shadow didn't look right.

Wow, that's pretty nice. And that's a lot of icons on the bottom. What's with the duck?

The duck is the icon for a chat program called Adium. It's basically the Mac equivalent to Trillian.

Stock wallpapers are fine and dandy, but I can't live without interfacelift. :D

New sidebar.

The start menu is screwed up on my PC as well. Its the limitation of WB, really. There are other skins that place the Log off and Reboot buttons in the proper place like the Vista ones, but I don't like the theme.

Where'd you get the original sidebar?

The first one was from a package I downloaded from some site.

The current one is from DeviantArt.

Go all the way down to the post by me and ears1991. Choose the new one, or you can download both the old and new and see which you like better.

Atleast I am super organized.
Anyone know of a place to get more things like barny from desktopX?

How? The recycle bin won't go anywhere and that folder has everything that was on the desktop.

Chris.

@ MachOne, thanks.

@ USEDHonda, There was another person a few pages back.

Chris.

Alpine, as Chief Desktop Advisor I declare yours a mess. The giant start bar emits no aesthetic pleasure. It may be functionally organized, but the look is very busy, with different styles of buttons and links all over the place.

Rule 1.01 of the Desktop Handbook states: "If a person uses a wallpaper which does not fit their monitor's aspect ratio [in your case you're using a widescreen where unappropriate] that person shall not be publically labelled an idiot, but shall be thought of as one."

-keef, CDA, GTPlanet

Don't fret, things will look better tomorrow.TM

Nothing is right for you. You're pickier than me. If he likes it, let it be, jeez.

I suppose it does look a bit untidy. My monitor is actually not a widescreen.

So, I went & changed it slightly.

I didn't think I'd notice much of a difference but I do. It's so much faster!

It's just a new joke of mine, but it seems to work. Alpine, your desktop looks much better, and you even improved its functionality! I also think that I've never driven one of those cars before. I don't even remember what it is.:odd:

Integra, that's not one of those plants that make the best tequila, is it? I'm not sure because I thought it was a blue somethinorother. I don't know, but the stuff sure makes her clothes fall off.
