How? The recycle bin won't go anywhere and that folder has everything that was on the desktop.

Then put the desktop tab in the taskbar by right clicking the taskbar > toolbars > desktop

@MachỎne: Changing system files is illegal. Customizing them for ObjectDock (i.e. making a shortcut for Konfabulator and putting a slightly discolored and pixelated dashboard logo) is legal (I think).

@toyomatt84: It doesn't slow down for me. And it gives an extra 3/16 of an inch to your screen space.
