GT4_Rule - Which program are you using for all of your toolbars, infoboxes and whatnot?

I might make the move to the darkside. I need something to spice up my desktop.

Anyone?

I know it's not the Vista Beta because there is no watermark.

The watermark can be removed :sly:

Anyways, you're right, he's using XP. I don't know about the fish and whatnot, but it looks like he's got Vista's 'Sidebar', so I guess search for that.

Edit: MachOne - it's a skin. Windows Vista RC1 from deviantArt. Link: Here

By the way, I come here every two days.

Give me props, I'll be learning to run a Mac next quarter. Yes, I have to go to college to learn a Mac.

For all the time you're spending trying to customize your desktop, you could be working to get enough cash for a Mac. :sly:

*waddles away*

For sure. I had talked to my mom and dad about it. My dad's cool with it 100% but my mom is still on the edge since I just built this new Conroe I have now. So I'm gonna try and work after April a little or even find a good job for now during the winter to get a Mac before I get my car... But for a fact, when I do get my car, the next thing I'm buying is an inspection check at the local VW dealer and a new Mac Book or Mac Book Pro.

Modded Royale. Don't ask unless you have that crazy patch they talk about. I just tried and got annoyed. And no, it's not for WB.

I grabbed a copy of Styler the other day and it seems to work well. I'm not sure if the program mimics what the uxtheme patch does, but I didn't exactly feel like undertaking that experiment. I used WindowBlinds in the past and wasn't pleased with it, though Styler is quite nice. Anyhow, thanks for the name of the style. I'll have to check it out when I can get deviantart to load up.

How to use it? I don't know if it's a program to install but once you've got the customizing program, you choose your skin and click OK or "Use this skin".

But most of the time you only can choose 5-10 different lame skins, for the cool ones, you off course have to buy the full version

👎 Completely incorrect.

lethalAE86typeR, as long as that theme is in .msstyle format, you should be able to use it with either Styler Toolbar or the UXtheme Multipatcher.

Can WindowBlinds imitate Vista's "blurred" glass? Or are you stuck with clear glass?

The blurred glass is something I've been trying to achieve using Beryl, but this is as close as I can get without losing that glass look:

Well, I'll tell you if it's your computer messing with the start menu here in a bit. BTW, that transparency around windows looks amazing. And this is the only Vista theme I've found that should (it's a wba) work immediately with WB. But I wouldn't put my money on it.

I've seen many themes for WB that have that blurry glass look. Personally, I don't think any of them really look like glass, but whatever.
