heeyyyyyy guys, iam new here in gt planet, and i think its the best site for games "ever", my name is asender and nice to meet u all, oh and iam from alabama, usa

I don't know,because I don't drift,instead i drive like a civilized person.

Then I would suggest going to the main GT4 settings forum and looking there.

In any case, this is not the thread for the standard "How do I drift" questions. We have many resources available in this very forum to help you get started. I suggest you look there.

Have fun.

Posts cleaned up. Let's keep this on topic guys. :)

This car handles great, neutral but careful with braking drifts (understeer), try to make inertia drifts and press hard the accel to make the car oversteer.

I suggest a stock Mazda RX7 (n2's front and back )

i've been looking around now and every drift setting says to use normal tyres. how do u drift with those tyres! i find that u canon sustain a drift long enough or get enough speed to make it look any good with normal tyres. on medium powered cars i use soft sport tyres and on higher powered cars hard racing tyres. also it is impossible with any sort of traction controll as even on the lowest setting it still stops the car from achieving a great enough drift angle to sustain a decent drift. so theres my moan and try drifting with sport tyres and see if they work for you.

it's not that hard if you got the good settings for your car i used sport tire in the past and now for often of time i used n2 and once you got the trick its simple but you need practice i need lil bit more practice but since a while i'm not a noob

Little description of handling characteristics: Tsuchia hates this car...He drove in a togue on a video I've seen and complained the whole time about how it was too fast...He loved it but hated how quick it was...I've gotten a couple good drifts out of it and I cannot find a set up for it on here so I made one and I figured someone who knew more might take it and run with it.

hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could give me an advice.
I really like the RX-7, especially the version from the tuned cars ('04 RE Amemiya RX7 (JGTC)) so I sent a request to Sheron.
but lately, I thought, why shouldn't I make these settings myself? it is me who wants them..

So could anyone tell me if it's a horrible drifter, a waste of time trying to make settings for a beginner like me.(it better not:P)

And if it isn't, what should i keep in mind for this car?

thanks

I customized the car to act like a 4WD vehicle when drifting. So it'll have more control during the drifts.

Hints!
1. If you accelerate too much (flooring it) you will spin out.
2. During the drifts, ease you acceleration to half so it'll stay in control.
a. Don't turn all the way while accelerating!
3. Best drifting in 3rd gear. Standard transmission. That's what I like.

and if ive done that already?

all I wanted to know is: is it a crappy drift car or not? or does that depend on the driver? or on the settings?

It depends on the driver, no car is crappy to drift, unless it is bone stock and the suspension and power is horrible.
