Well I didn't even try the race I'm afraid but some VERY interesting results nonetheless. Big congrats to AngelCreator and NightmareHunter who performed beter than their divisions would suggest and to Kyle for taking the Div 1 Crown this week. Onto Germany we go...

Important notice:

This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" when all posted replays have been checked. After 7 days, any racers achieving a Gold time who do not provide a replay will have their lap disqualified.

Quick guide to replay checking:
  1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are SS/SS or harder and that the power is 373 hp
  2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
  3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
  4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
  5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

great outcome tho the number of submissions looks a bit disappointing for such a great combo.
anyway, HUGE congrats to james for his fastest time of the entire wrs community 👍 . i will be checking his replay for sure!
also to kyle in div1 and certainly sammy in div3 for an incredible time 👍 👍 you keep submitting and get ready for div2 little lady!

in all modesty, colby, thanks for using my non-photocomp picture but why do you give jake the credits for it - first hidden typo perhaps? :)

i will be checking his replay for sure!

Oh no you won't, he's NTSC.

Congrats to all winners, and all those who could stand three laps at Apricot Hill 👍
I swore that this week, I'll check every PAL replay.

How not to do Apricot Hill quickly :ouch:

Oh well, on to the Nurb (at least once I'm done with Tsukuba 9h Endurance).

It looks like these multilappers with AI just don't attract people.

Congrats Jason (and Kyle and Sammy) - now I want to see that replay !

Thanks guys!

Well, conGRATS to everyone who submitted this week! HUGE congrats to James, you know we're all looking forward to that replay... Seriously though, considering the amount of time I put into the combo, you've seriously come into your own or something with the DFP. Top of Division 1 worthy result man, alien style. And Sammy, 👍, way to go girl, keep at it and you're in Div.2 in no time.(I think you should already be there... just depends on how much time you spend each week! 👍)

While, I don't think the AI were necessarily that hard, I can imagine it being a bit more rough for people who didn't get their launch down almost perfectly and had to try and struggle to get around people still with turn 3 and further. All week I was leaving them to get around in the second turn, but just last night I finally found a line-up that allowed me to get around everyone before turn 1 and I was seeing T1 times of 20.7xx on the first lap.

I don't know why there weren't more people racing this week, the AI were NOT really a problem... And it's thrown things all out of wack. I'm really curious as to what was possible. I'm sure the DFP would be a bit of an advantage this week, but James wasn't the ONLY person using it...?

I could've gone a few tenths faster but couldn't string it together.

My final settings were a bit different from James', and I'd love to have someone else try them out to see what they think about them, but the week's over so I'm not going to expect anyone to do so. I did not use any aids, and I was using my DS2. I was also going to say something else regarding settings, but can't remember what...

James, you did have the chassis reinforcing, correct? I was trying it out without it for a few miles, I think, and didn't really see a huge benefit, if any.

Holy flipping! nightmarehunter where the heck did you come from? haha major congrats on handing me my butt. thats what i get for submitting on wednesday. :indiff:

(i had seen a 1'06 T1. if i would have put out the effort to string a pair of 58's onto that i might have won. :\ i like winning. lol)

Sorry:(! I didn't mean to beat to every one by that much. Please don't hate me!!
And not to sound rude or anything, but please don't call me "little lady".
I just don't like it, you see, I'm a tom boy (no it dose not mean that I'm gay)
and I don't really like being called a lady. Because I'm not for one, I like to get dirty, and I don't dress like a normal girl, and I'm around my dad a lot.
So but thank you anyway. Laters.

Sammy:indiff:.

James - your replay is clean 👍 (nice work with the gas pedal)
Sammy - your replay is clean 👍 - you kick ass !

I guess I should have submitted. After spending well, not as much time as I thought, I had around at least a silver if not gold D2 time. Oh well, guess it's on to next week, as well as my architecture studio project which will probably prevent me from getting any laps in..

I don't understand why you don't submit when you have a submittable time...?

I don't understand why you don't submit when you have a submittable time...?

Because I A) wasn't sure how clean it was. B) couldn't risk just submitting the time from whatever replay I saved. C) I was exhausted and still had homework to do...

James - your replay is clean:tup:(nice work with the gas pedal)
Sammy - your replay is clean:tup:- you kick ass !

Well that make's me happy, I knew it was clean but I have knot's in my stomach about it.

Edit:
Checked both replay's and there clean:tup:. All we need now is Kyle's replay;).

C) I was exhausted and still had homework to do...
Man, I need to get my priorities straight! No wonder I'm not in school anymore... Lol, sounds good man.
All we need now is Kyle's replay;).
Yeah... We were snowed in yesterday, and I couldn't move until I had some snow tires delivered to me around lunch time today... And I have to go to my sister's to babysit her dogs while her and her fiancee are at Whistler this weekend. I'll try to go to Pat's tomorrow night after I let the dogs out to get the maxdrive from him. Otherwise, it'll have to wait for this weekend. It'll be up on sunday at the VERY latest though, I promise! 👍

Took a peak at AngelCreators replay and for a second persons view it is indeed a clean run. 👍

Just in case you didn't already know, ^that^ was me posting on Pat's computer. 👍

Kyle doesn't have a replay device. He comes over to my place and transfers his replay with my maxdrive. Since he was here and I already had GTP open, he just posted the replay and forgot it was logged in on my user name.

hey, is week 89 results up? i'll post a replay of my week 89 lap here if it isnt, in around 2 hours, wanna check out how molik fairs first in 3rd round

Here is my replay, sorry its so late but iv been very busy with work and it being my birthday on the 20th. So anyway here it is.

ps, Well done to everyone who got gold and most of all to James 👍 👍

Thanks James! Now, if only we could get Jerry or someone to post a video of your race... It's nutz! :scared:

So that means you got to watch it(did pat watch it?). And thanks:). I know Ren-Tec want's to see it.

No, I haven't seen it, that's why I want to have a video made. Next time I go to Pat's though, I may get your replay uploaded to my card so I can try chasing it, or at least watch it to see how you're driving it. I know my driving wasn't extremely smooth, nor extracting the most out of the car, by any means. But, the other D1 guys with DFPs didn't go faster than me... So, I can't think that it was just that. I tried your setup, with a different transmission and different differential settings and it wasn't helping me. There were a couple things "wrong" with it in my mind.
