aquendwato, the c2 is simply superb. it drives and feels really comfortably and grip is on par with that of an evo 8 my first response when driving this car were hmmmm..... another s2000, anywho. but after driving it, im impressed. this car is imho one notch higher than the spoon s2000. this thing is absolutely stunning, i give it a 9


PS can we also expect a race version of it too.....
 
That was my first thought when making it, but it's really the only car that fits in the class I wanted at a reasonable price. I'm considering a race version because it seems ideally suited to make a GT300 car out of (minus the racing chip to get it under the HP limit) but there's no races in the game for GT300 cars.

EDIT: It seems the umbria/capri rallies on hard but you up against a 300HP rally car, so that could help pay for it. But still no real track races.
 
I am now working on a turbo'd version of the levin with the same suspension and similar trans setup as the sprinter. Also all the parts are the same except instead of the supersharger its a stage 5 turbo.
 
Neither, it's a semi-racing. I'm not made of money. Post edited accordingly. I also tweak the settings a bit to get a bit more speed out of the car.

And michael, have you posted your Integra? I'd like to learn about some FF tuning for possible future products.

i'm no good tuner, i got a base setup from eg6_dude and i modified it some more.
 
I've been thinking about my "tuning company" name. This came out: Amateur Street Technologies (AST)

Is it any good? It does say with i'm trying to do with my tuning, i'm not using slicks or high power cars so it's not for (serious) circuit use. So street fits good.

Nice! Tell me if you like it. Its not meant for drifting but it does tend to kick the tail out on the first turn in Tscuba (sp?).
 
I'll try out that GT500 when I get some money again. I'm back to being poor from my latest tuner project, which is by far the biggest to date. The Tussun marque, containing two economy cars (a coupe and sedan), and SUV, a pickup, a hybrid, and (possibly) a luxury car. While definitely sporty, they will not be sports cars per se. However I like tuning cars on a budget ($150,000 projects really aren't my thing) and I need and excuse to do it, so expect to see them sometime next week or the week after.

So far I've confirmed and Acura RSX and a Honda Insight will be there. Tussun is short for tussunartok, Inuit for desirable. Aquendwato means nothing, I made it up.
 
I'm tuneing a CRX today and i think it's finished. since it's got a SR suspension there are not many mods to do. But it is GREAT! Really guys i never had that much on in an FF on any track in any game (i was driving on the ring). I tuned the setup on Tsukuba and Midfield (no lap times yet). It's NA tuned to 197hp.
I like the superfast and grippy turn in. the grip in the middle of the corner is low like almost any FF but at the exit it get better. the highspeed turn in also has it's advantage on braking cause you can brake more early.
Setup online soon, i hope you guys like it as much as i do :)

I'm interested to know what kind of generalized specs you'd look for in the sports car victim. 👍

On another note,
I've tuned a lotus Esprit '02 and it runs well. Working out the understeer during braking is still giving me doubts. None the less, I tuned an RGT to compete with it, still have plans for a Z06 and if possible, I'd like to find an 1100+ KG 4wd from Japan (yellow if possible).
Those four are part of a yellow group from around the world, each running various drivetrains. It would be interesting to work on a comparison between those (all about 1100-1200kg, 400-500hp, 2.5pwr, full weight reduction, S3).

That was a very general statement, but I am looking to knock down cars with about 350hp or so, or cars like the elise! 👍

I would also assume that some form of the Nissan Skyline would be your best best for the comparison. Although, a non-AWD car would better suited to the other cars in the comparison. (something like a NSX-R, RX-7 Spirit R, Supra RZ)

Well... I agree that something other than 4wd would be better (in a some sense) but I was originally thinking about the idea of the US, UK, Germany, and Japan all having a run at each other with completely different cars running similar hp & kg. 👍
Problem is, there aren't many 4wd'ers that fall in with the group very well... I may tune the Evo 8 GSR (as it can use the yellow paint) but it isn't the top offering ("MR" is better IMO).

That said, I may change up the unique drivetrain idea and use something that can more easily match the specs of the others. 👍

I was just asking for the sake of getting a touge showdown going, I always hold out on the hope even though tuning and testers aren't too common around here. None the less, :cheers:

Yes, the E1 is a hybrid. It has a tiny 3-banger. But that doesn't mean it's not without it's charm. I agree that a Lancer Evolution of some sort would be good, but a skyline can handle more horsepower easier, and will be able to put more power down to the ground then a Evo. However it is your comparison and who am I babbling about what you should do. Do what you feel like man! 👍

I would love to help in any way I could to start getting a Touge showdown going on GTP! I think that would be great fun! I set all my cars up like touge cars now anyways. I am sure we could wrangle up a good amount of people willing to tune and test cars. I personally would be voluntering to be a tuner and I know Scaff has already voluntered to be a judge. So plan something out and gather people and we should be able to get something going here! 👍 :cheers:

Well, my cars seem to handle good and without any strange reactions on bumps when driving on the ring which is a Touge to me.
