It's resolved.

In Mr Burns style- "excellent".

Edit: MRAT FPV GT Review
You were right, this car corners exceedingly well for its weight. The gears take care of wheelspin nicely as well as the large weight still on top of them so wheelspin isn't an issue and considering it's way over 600hp on S2 tyres that's impressive. Turn in on this car is much better than I thought it would be so another accomplishment on that battle field. It seems to be a little understeery exiting corners though and I think that is then the fault having no weight reduction/driveshaft and all but it isn't bad like an AWD car or anything. The lap times aren't quite up to par with what I expected and I'm guessing this is where its weight hurts it the most, straight line speed seemingly isn't there for such a high powered vehicle and that would be pwr. So it's an impressive car that would probably be hurt by weight reduction but is hurt without it, less power and better tyres and weight reduction might make this car better, but it is what it is.

So?

It's FUN.

Hell YEAH! I love racing a close race then getting a little bit ahead by the final corner then to celebrate flick the tail out smoke 'em up a little just to taunt my opponents.:sly: It's a good car, took the exhaust off mine after testing for better engine sound.

I did that for a good 5-6 laps at Laguna Seca playing GT Legends against a few guys on line. Then my rear tires went to hell and I started locking them up going into the hairpin.

One more post and I will make 500 posts, expect one of my cars released with the New Year's specials to also be a 500th post special.

happy new year in Australia and the start of 5 new releases in AT. We are releasing 1 per day for 5 days. BUT a bonus package first up

Description: No one ever knew that Walkinshaw Performance were playing with the idea of a supercharged Commodore long before the VE Commodore, and here is what they made that no one ever seen, the Walkinshaw VY SS Commodore and this is a serious car with real speed and will look like an absolutely stock SS to any poor fool who wants to race it, then bam, like a bullet, it's gone. Wheelspin may also be an issue with such a high powered road legal vehicle, so treat her gently and ye shall be rewarded.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I like your SS VY boys. I've done the V8 Supercar version to mine (N/A S3 instead of Supercharged) and it's the best drift car I have, not to mention the 3 various street versions I have. :) Go to motorland and have a play with it. Slightly different with settings but just as much fun. :)

Mafs!!

Good to hear Mafs, funny that the drift car has turned out good, we were making the grip set-up and halfway through stumbled across a good drift setup, funny how things work like that.

RUF BTR '86 Review
This car is a hoot to drive and it's certainly a little more controllable than the stock tune. 6th gear is a little short, and I'm not sure why. The suspension is set up well to controll wheelspin and oversteer. A recommendation of more brake balance at the rear in the settings I would say is for the truly skilled racers if it is practical. If anything, more brake balance at the front would help, but the 3/3 is fine, just try and not to go guns a blazin' into a corner. Mid-corner through to exit is where this car shines. Most cars with S3 tyres and this much power would understeer quite a bit but this car, being the RR it is and thanks to the controllable setup will do whatever you request of it. A really fun drive and even driftable, well done. 👍

Description: This car is superbly balanced especially for such a large sedan. It can outrun any road car you put it up against in GT4 and the handling really is superb. Even with all that power there isn't much wheelspin and the car will never spin out on you, it's oh so controllable. This should give some Ford fans something to be proud of again and show others I'm not a one brand show.;)

Well, Ford still ranks second behind all the GM brands in my books. Naturally though there are a lot of GM brands so this fact sometimes becomes kind of clouded. Would you like to drive it, I've put in a picture and everything.
RJ, if you're reading this, I hoped this would be the car that would gain your interest, what do you think?

Haha yeah, I'll give it a drive tomorrow afternoon for sure. I have one with the rigidity increase already applied so I can just drop your settings into the B-slot and go.

Don't forget it only has stage 2 turbo and no exhaust for better sounds.;) Thanks for coming and having a drive though.

So are you going to drive it RJ? I didn't encounter much issue with the power band affecting acceleration and I drive auto in the game. It has stage 2 turbo, nothing bigger.

RUF BTR'86
Power: 531 hp.
I used to hate driving the RUF on high speed courses, but now, the BTR is much more controllable and stable. But it can also drift when you want it to. Since it's RR, you need to brake earlier, then ease off throttle for oversteer and floor it for stability. These settings help make it more neutral for handling. Neutral is not a word used for alot of RR cars when it comes to handling.

Nice setup man. 9.5/10. 👍
