Hi.

I see in the game user manual a recomended tire list per car for a "real driving experiencie".

Do you know any web or document with this content?.

Thanks in advance. Regards.

try this and you will get your moneys worth... i could acualy feel my f430 trying to grip for its life at suzuka.👍 infact i think they did the physics just so you can use these tire settings to come up with the most realistic driving, because driving the f430 with N3 front and S1 back, i think they may have hit the nail on the head.👍

"NOTE" THIS IS FROM THE MANUAL IN THE GAME!! so, please do not give me credit. just try it out and see if you complain about the new so called-arcade physics any more

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might have just saved the people that were going to stop playing!!

Actually, I'm doing them right now!!!

Looks like you put a lot of effort into this. Great work, and I'll be sure to try these tire combinations out! 👍
lol no man, i didnt descover this. its in the manual... i just put it here because im pretty sure nobodys was going to look at the manual...and obviously they didnt.:sly:

ive ben trying this all night the cars feel so realistic. So far i have been doing Eiger with many of the cars in stock form if anybody has time to do this let me know what you think.

i mean come on guys? didnt you get why pd let you change the tires in arcade mode now?
its so simple... the settings up there can now make gt5p feel like a world class leading simulater...and i mean the cars handel super realisticly. you will be fighting for grip. and when the shift indicator says shift down to that number...you might want to do it or your going straight into the grass GT5P LIVES AGAIN:sly:

i have read on other forums that S1-S2 means that S1 are the normal stock tires and S2 are considerd fresh new tires i dont know if this is true just seeing if this is true

FYI Tested each single car on the tire settings given, on a G25, and a PAD. Recomended 200% for rfactor and gtr2 physics:tup:

and yes. i have rfactor and gtr2.:sly:

before this..the new physics were so half a**d

but now they come alive... just try it for your self. im pretty sure it will put a nice big smile on your face, and lot of sweat poring from your palms.:sly:

because driving the f430 with N3 front and S1 back, i think they may have hit the nail on the head.👍

It does not mean you should drive with N3 up front and S1 in the back, it means you should drive with N3's or S1's. N3 is the 'normal' setting for the F430 and the S1 is to simulate new tyres. That is explained in the same manual. ;)

lol i meant to say this is all thanks to mrduck my bad man...!!! HELL GREAT FIND I LOVE GT5P NOW!!!! so mr duck you get a 👍

but i still started a new thread about :sly:

jk thanks duck

maby we should bookmark this list b/c i think this list is starting to work with the new updated physics.
witch is why i started that new thread and gave it an eye catching title, now people will look, try it,and salute to pd:sly: but yea man kudos to you for finding all that info i didnt know any thing about it.👍

but yea we have to spread the word, it was alot of people that left gt5p because they thought it was to easy... to bad we couldnt show them this...then again if they really were hardcore gt5p fans they would have read the manual....this excludes me...game play was my manual:sly:

yeah sticky asap...if only pd explained things a little better, the last couple of threads about the update would be a little more positive

Kudo's for writing the list out, but if you want it stickied a few things first:

Thats not true, as PD stated

"The table below shows which combinations of tyres give the most true-to-life driving experience in each model of the car. If a car is listed as "S1-S2", for example, this means that S1 tyres are recommended to simulate the grip of normal tyres for that car, and S2 tyres to simulate freshly-fitted ones."

PD doesn't not mention mismatching tyres for front and rear anywhere.

Also you are missing the Suzuki Cappuccino from your list and you have Evo X twice (one is supposed to be Evo IX) as well as other small errors, here is a revised list :)

Obviously not :D:dunce:. I've been playing GT for years, and I've never read the manual...

But thanks to you and MrDuck anyway for posting this info. Now I can print it out and keep it handy instead of having to look at the manual every time I want to see the tire combos. to you both.

As stated above, you're NOT supposed to combine different tyre compounds! It's either one, not both at the same time, as stated in the same part of the manual!

Quote from VIPERGTSR01/GT manual:

"The table below shows which combinations of tyres give the most true-to-life driving experience in each model of the car. If a car is listed as "S1-S2", for example, this means that S1 tyres are recommended to simulate the grip of normal tyres for that car, and S2 tyres to simulate freshly-fitted ones."

:scared: Whoa, calm down! I just meant the different tire settings for different cars, not actually combining N1 and N2 tires. Trust me, I read the whole thread, and I know what's going on 👍.
