edit: I dont know why, but I most of time was in races where was not enough group-members. Strange... usually I have been lucky in this kind of 'player matching-tournaments'.

You know we're often 5 - 6 members of the T&L team on skype and there is often a clock difference of some seconds.

Thanks for your patience in that race marchbrown. I have now managed to do one whole lap without spinning out. Back for the xx11 race.

Hahaha that DB9 was a real pain in the backside all night.

Jon, in that race with Fairplay, the first I was in, did you actually hit me at the chicane? It was really strange, I got hit really hard from the back, but when I looked back everyone was carrying on through the chicane without penalty or any deviation. Was it just a lag spike or something? Anyway, was great fun, shame the Honey group only had a handful of racers in it who managed to connect....the matching was really hit and miss tonight.

All the best
Maz

Wasnt even close to hit you maz. Both me and Kai really wonderd - but it was at least 3 car lenghts between us and I didnt feel a thing.

Oh... I'll do re-sync to PS3 clock tomorrow. I dont even know when I've last time done that.

Thanks about nice event! I'm guessing this was not one-time-event...?

Think about that 20 min interval for next time. Would be nice to change thoughts with others between races, and collect info about results just after race.

Please don't wait for me if i spin out. It's getting too embarrassing now. Thanks too all that have waited though.

Well folks,Thats it all done:).Thanks to Everybody who took part in this event:tup:

thanks to everyone for participating in the event. i had a really good time, even though it was a long night also with few brakes. need my sleep now, we race again another day.

Just ended up in a race on my own with the 650pp guys. I raced it faultless and came 2nd. My first decent race all night and no one was there to see it. Lol. Thanks to everyone that has raced tonight, and a huge thanks to all involved in organising it. Sorry i so bad lol.

Great event this was fellas! Had some nice little battles going with Marchbrown, Autoaki and MJH last night.... 👍 Whens the next one?!?! lol :D

I have no idea what happened to me..

There were no GTP players in my race. :(

I don't know what I did wrong! lol

The player matching was not going well last night... I think we forgot to synch the clocks on our PS3... there were time differences... only a small group present everytime... 4 or 5 at a time...

Did anyone use the TLD tunes?:(

I did in 'race 5', which I'm just uploading to YouTube.

Sorry that I screw that race in some point. I maybe could challenge Fairplay, but did wrong decicion in fast situation. Then I could have nice battle with Marchbrown, but screw again because consentrating to wrong thing.

To other Tuners:

Race 1, I was using Prudent's setup.

Race 2, Prudent's setup with DC's gear-ratios.

I was jumping 'tune to tune', but could not challenge fastest drivers in any race. That must mean that it's not everything about setups. Most important 'tune' is something you cant get from net. :)

Had littlebit same problem after few races. Next time everybody should sync PS3-clock via internet, when turn it on before racing.

Despite all my moaning, i really enjoyed this race. Shame i only mastered the db9 after the event had ended. Can't wait for the next event. Back to 600pp tonight i guess.

Hmmmm 27:21 for the BMW... closer than I thought... had a feeling the DB9s were getting romped that night...

Well - results from the other groups are not counted.

BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING THIS A SHAKEN - NOT STIRRED - EVENING.

The T&L team will evaluate what happend. There is a lot of things that could have been sorted out in a different way - but we did need the test.

For what I saw, there was much more difference in point between M3 & DB9 !!👍

I think we got it quite right Wayne. Got all races on video and only race with a T&L host was valid. Me and Kai, Fair_play, the other host talked on skype all evening so we know for sure which race whos valid or not. Host + 3 participants= valid race

Autoaki got three of the vaild races on video - check the link. I think Kai got the rest of the valid races. Thrust me - I really dont want to fake the results or anything my friend and btw thanks for some great batles. Lets do it again soon.

The results for race15:M3/DB9/DB9

The results for race16:M3/DB9/DB9

The Honey Ryder group was a bit hit and miss for most people.I managed about 6races and most times it was myself and Maz and hyperuk. Two of my races had enough drivers to make them valid.Up front was two M3 and behind them DB9's and the other one had one M3 and two DB9's.There's no doubt that the M3 was the stronger car,and yet at the end of the night most of the cars on track where DB9's:crazy:.I know there was two or three races that i was not in,but had Maz in them and enough cars to make them valid.

A few personal notes from yesterday:

1. The Cars -

As guessed, the BMWs owned the event, any driver with a DB9 needed to have great skill to keep up, and of course a flawless race, from start to finish. Any mistake with the Aston meant the BMWs were gone forever. However, I must say I enjoyed driving the DB9, the car has character and if in the future we have again an event featuring the DB9, count me in.

2. The drivers (Xenia Onattop group) -

M3 drivers - Wanna B and PrudentBear, in their M3s, owned the first few hours of the event, JvM took over and owned the rest of them. Graffen was strugling a bit (only BMW I had a real chance to battle against), I guess his tune needed a litle more work on it to match his driving style.

DB9 Drivers - Stealthwinnr was, without a doubt the fastest and more consistent DB9 in our group, from start and until the end of the event. Great job Rune. Ardius had a slow start, but it was very clear, at least for me, that every race he entered he was driving faster and faster, and results showed it. Great job for someone that has been almost absent of GT5P for a long time. GrimReaper had his "hit and miss" moments, just like me, but when he got it right he was right there with the pack of DB9s, fighting for position.

3. Other Drivers -

Close to the end of the event, and because many racers had to leave the game, we all merged "into Mayday" :D schedule. So had the oportunity to race against other group's drivers, I'd like to mention Kai (Fairplayplease), Jon (MarchBrown) and Warren (Theewar), all very fast in their DB9s. Kai, again sorry for the few bumps in the esses, I guess my parking sensors were as tired as I was at that time of night. MJH was also fast, but he was having a bit of trouble to keep his DB9 on the tarmac for a full race. Glad you sorted it out later, there's nothing like "practise" to get "perfect" 👍

4. The event -

There are a few lessons to learn from this event, I think Jon and all T&L team-members took a few notes. In all, I didn't have many connection problems and, in about 4 hours of racing, only entered two "non-valid" races (less then 4 racers). There's always a risk, when you opt for "two-make" events, that the cars aren't evenly matched, but even that didn't ruin the fun last night. In all, it was great fun, only possible because some organized it, some actively supported it, providing much needed tunes, and many participated, all in good will and with a "all I want is to have fun" attitude that resulted in a very agreable meeting for many GTP members.
What can be improved? Well, I'm sure many things can, but without private rooms and in-game voice chat, I think last night we got as close as we can get to have an event of this magnitude (3 groups racing, 12 races per hour, for nearly 4 hours) running smoothly.

Congratulations to all that organized, to all that helped and to all that participated in this event! 👍

This was truly a fantastic event. I had few of the best races I've ever had in this one. I'd like to thank everyone who was in the same races with me.
And especially I want to thank all you T&L guys who made this event happen.:bowdown:

See you guys at the track! :) 👍👍👍

I didn't realise that it was more than one race per group. Not that i would've been competitive, I think my quickest time was a 2:21.

I'm such a newbie to this GT racing malarky!

I still don't get it... How do you make sure you get the same race online? How do you lot communicate about racing on the night?

If someone could give me some pointers (PM or something), or link to a thread that explains all this, I would be most grateful !
