Yep very good point, but I have already called them and they have my details on record with the fault along with my serial number (previously registered). 👎
Not all is lost though, just was going through some paperwork and I took out a 3 year extended warranty with Argos back in March 07. Looks like they will try to repair it, otherwise provide gift vouchers if not repairable.
I am hoping it's not repairable, so I can buy a PC and start playing rFactor.
Awk unlucky. Seriously though, just hypothetically speaking, if I dropped my PS3 down the stairs and it was broken, then ring up continuousplay and sign up for the 4.99 a month PS3 cover, then say a week later ring to say that it fell down the stairs yesterday and I need a new one, then cancel my subscription once the replacement arrives, how can they possibly catch me? Do you have to prove that your PS3 works somehow when you register? I checked the FAQ and terms and conditions and couldn't find anything about that. Seems like an almighty loophole to me.
Yep, big loophole, they cannot proove anything, unless there is a minimum wait time before you can make a claim. I could even register for the continuous play now and make a claim. If I was ever questioned I could say that my PS3 started to work again and registered for continuous play because I did not want to be without cover should it fail again. Looks as this is only for Europe and UK at the moment.
But the price of £5 a month, not a great deal, but that equates to £60 per year, and with thousands of people taking this offer it looks as though sony will be making a fair bit from this scheme.
My argos 3 year warranty (inc 1 year manufacturer) only cost me £35 👍

Wow, outstanding lap time. I've been wondering where I'm losing all the time? I know I have to be more consistent at Becketts to carry good speed on to Hangar straight, but I think the most important corner is the last one, Luffield. If you get a poor exit out of there it kills the lap time I think.
Anyway, looks like with fishfash down and out for a while that LewyOs is the favorite for this race.

Yknow I think we need to drum up more interest in the PAL event. I know of a couple of racers who I think would be good to have on board. There's one called Fairplay, anyone know him? He often hosts races and they're usually very well attended. As you can tell by his name, he drives sensibly. I'll send him a message on PSN encouraging him to join 💡

Yes, I've raced Fairplay many times on GT5
.If you can get more people to join, by all means ask them! I have no problems with new people coming in as long as they come in this thread and get into the discussions.
At the moment we have 5 seats open -
My seat is not a permanent one, though I will keep it till last if I can, I do intend on trying to make the races when I can.
GT4 Genius can't make any more races for the time being.

2 seats are already free and open (as both marchi and Aussierules never turned up).
Edit: Just sent out the PM's, if any new PAL drivers are found, please could they be asked to PM me about it or tell me here. I will send out the relevant info about the race, etc.
Also, I have noticed the DocSix has not attended the last 2 NTSC races - does anyone know if he's still going to race or shall I offer his seat to someone else?

There shouldn't be any accidents at copse unless someone is far too careful and gets rear punted. I expect to see plenty of spins at Becketts hahaha.
BTW I think we should keep the AI at medium, as it's ridiculously slow at easy. The fastest they would get at medium would be a high 1:30 wheras at easy it would be 1:38. No point in the cars being there if they're that slow.

Just ran another practice. 1:27.119 was my fastest so far. Some random in the room ran a 1:25.899! I don't think I can touch that.

I've found T1, T7, T9/10, T11, and T16 are the most critical to getting below 1:27. I just can't hit all right in the same lap.

In the chat I said to put the AI onto easy as I had no interest in racing the AI. Having gone a bit skewiff at T2 due to the spray and getting an 18-second penalty I found that once I caught up with the AI after half a lap I was missing all the braking points because of the spray and I wasn't anywhere near overtaking them, thus I quit. I know that we were all quicker than the AI in qualifying, but I have no interest in them being 1 second slower than me, I don't want them at all, I want to race you guys. I had an amazing race!
From the info I got on here I was thinking I would be about 3rd, but I qualified 2nd! Then from there on I just stayed there, pulling away from everyone. I didn't know what the hell was going on but I stayed with it, only making one mistake during the whole mistake.
This has definitly helped my title chances!

Just didn't have the pace that race, which was dissapointing since I did in practice.
Buggard up turn 3 on the first lap which made me the cut the grass and gain a penalty, then had a tangle with appie I think it was, I was alongside I wasn't touching him but I saw him spin off infront off me, so I realised it was the lag bubble and waited for him.

I can't understand how LewyOs was so off the pace. I was expecting him to blaze a trail ahead of me but strangely he qualified with a 1:28 after setting a high 1:25 earlier in the week.
I'm proud to say I didn't spin or get any time penalties. Only Xed one of my pitstop proceedures losing a couple of seconds but nothing else. Got fastest lap too of 1:26 flat on my second pit out lap, my fastest normal lap was a 1:26.4xx
