One thing I really noticed was the difference in cars between single and multiplayer. So can I suggest we do a practice race in the day(s) before the race? Obviously it won't be expected of anyone to turn up, but I'd find it useful, as they do behave very differently.

Nah, the single player cars are a hell of a lot faster if you set it up right, and that usually involves putting loads of camber on. You turn into corners so much more quickly and can get on the throttle so much more quickly. Case in point, my best ever silverstone dry time online is about 1:19.0xx, offline in a McLaren (roughly the same basic speed as the online car) i did a 1:16.4. Or online monza, my best without a draft is about 1:22.0xx whereas offline in a Ferrari it is 1:18.520.

Other then a annoying glitch (and a hit from behind), it was a rather uneventful race. Some how I got placed 6th when I clearly passed for the lead and was not caught up to the rest of the way. I hope there isn't another glitch at the next round. because this is annoying.

Yep.. happened to Mofongo and I as well.
I don't recall who was involved, but I lost a wheel trying to avoid some debris in the first complex of corners. When I respawned, I was 9th.. thought "Ok, I probably am after that mess." Shortly after, noticed a few of the cars involved in the wreck were behind me on track but ahead in placement and knew what had happened. Figured I'd stick it out as there were a few points to be had.
Mofongo and I did have a nice scrap for a few laps there. Sorry for our collision on the exit of Club, though. I saw CAMikaze going slowly as I came 'round, then saw you taking evasive action. I was simply carrying too much speed and had nowhere to go.

Only way I know to explain it is there were so many guys on different pit stop intervals because of the early scraps. I know on my screen I saw cars pitting very early.
I am not aware of ever having scoring glitches at Silverstone,unlike a couple other tracks where it is common.
All I know on my screen the top 5 or so didnt change much.

Are you sure? After the first few turns (I got held up the went sideways then got hit, sorry for the wreck there) I came out P2, then racecar passed me ( I think?), but then I thought I lapped mofongo(sorry if I tapped you there around lap 10, my car showed inside of yours on the last turn there)? so I thought I finished the race P3 or P2?

Very interesting race guys.
started out P7 , slid off track , fell well behind , but persistance paid off. I was able to race back up into 3rd , some how , actually snagged 2nd for a lap while others were pitting.Came back out into P3 doing battle with Lofasz for a couple of laps , he got around me , I fell to P4 for a good majority of the race.Later in race , slid off , gave P4 to teamate DaddyVDub , rode around P5 for a while , got involved in a battle with Racecar , we touched a few times , not real sure what happened there , but it was not good as he slid off , and I got a damaged front wing (red). Who's to blame , ( don't know ),I'm sure our points of view will vary.Ended up finishing P5.

I made a mistake in saying I respawned in 7th. I was 9th there for a bit with Mofongo 8th and brindle 10th. Was a few laps later that I was shown 7th. I recall you passing me while I was waiting for Mofongo after our tangle, but my position was the same both before and after you had gone by.
Hm. I seem to remember clocking a 1'26.5 somewhere in there. I was lapping regularly in the 1'26 range after my first set of stops.

I am only going by what the final screen said guys.That is what I saw , and my wife also, as she keeps track of the race , while we are racing and records things like fast lap and pole position , and final standings per screen.

The problem I have with thinking you were the leader is...
1- On my screen you were shown behind me the whole race and I never was passed by anyone except Lofasz,Duck (that I saw)on track,and Lennon.
2- You qualifed behind me so did Lennon, I saw Lennon pass me when Lofasz bumped me, again You did'nt pass.Other than that bump I mentioned on lap 1, I never went off track or wrecked.
3)-On lap 2 or 3 I saw 2 or 3 cars in pits,did you pit early?
4)-I know you can be quick but very late in race Lennon and you were racing together while he was in 5th place I think it takes a whole lot to lap the field all the way up to 4th at Silverstone.
If you have more evidence than saying "I was the leader" present it.

Wait, I was shown qualified behind you on your screen? My screen said I qualified second behind Formulanone after the timer reached zero and on the first lap, I got around him on the inside for the lead before I suddenly got kicked to 8th. I'm don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat and I wish I had evidence other then my own eyes, but I know before that glitch happened I was scored 1st after T1. I'm just frustraited that I basically got screwed by the game and I did everything (except hold up lennon) I needed to do. I'm not doubting you or anyone, I just find it hard to accept I got finished lower then I should have.

The 1.25 earlier in the week shocked me also, never made another 1.25 lap all week after that.
My fastest lap in the race was a high 1.26 I believe.
It pays to be consistent in these races, than it does risk spinning off and getting a penalty.
May not be at the next race, I will update you all though.

Ok yeah, I thought I was P1 for a bit, but I knew you were about .5 faster a lap. If it's worth anything, I ran a very clean after T3, running 1:28.1s almost every lap. On the pit stop shuffle (I usually pit early) I think I came out in front of you duck once, then spun in T7. I know Lofaz was behind me for a long time, got close, then from his post, looks like he dropped back. No one passed me after I lapped mofongo, which was the final 10 laps of the race. So I think the standings are correct. But I don't really care. I'm not fast enough in the dry anyway, so bump me down if necessary.

I qualified 3rd, behind Racecar. I saw FormulaNone going into the grass on T1, so Racecar was 1st. I was 2nd. With a big gap from the rest of the drivers. Racecar was very fast and pulled a big gap between us by the 3th. lap. FormulaNone pulled really fast laps, 1:26.5xx so he was soon on my tail. We kept racing for a couple of laps in this order: 1. Racecar; 2. Mofongo, 3. FormulaNone. I pitted first, FormulaNone pitted the following lap but I kept my position in front of FormulaNone out of the pits down from P2 to P7. Here is where I believe the glitch happened. FormulaNone and I kept the battle for a couple of more laps but our positions never changed, like if none one else pitted. Someone respawned on T10, I dont know what happened but FormulaNone hit me so hard that I needed a respawn, he waited for me to pass him (Thanks man, I appreciate it

Also, 4 or 5 laps to go on the race, I saw GTP_DaddyVDub and JWLennon on the pits, I had done my 2nd. stop already so I though I was going to gain 2 positions with 5 laps left in the race. No, I didnt get any position and DaddyVDub and JWLennon finished in front of me. The results show me 1 lap down. Thats impossible.
