How to help keep Perez in p2.

Edit.

Toto sounds like such a turd when he's on the radio.

You’re right on this instance

But, funny seeing you quote Alonso again. That was proven wrong long ago in another thread but you parrot it when it’s convenient apparently.
Well lewis did the same mistake.
Just turns in as if no one is there.

Hulkenberg may have started in Sainz' grid spot
That looked so weird. You can clearly see the car in front of him stopping, and he just drives on to the next spot.

Surely he must have known that Sainz was not gonna be there

Just listening on espn radio while driving somewhere and Alex Brundle commentating sounds just like his dad.

Don't want to be to rude but able to hear him talk in German and what and how he talks he is just not the brightest candle on the cake. Having done around 300? races and starting the formation laps with a free spot in front only to forget this 3 minutes later, oh boy. (+ Engineer not reminding him too but yeah it's Haas...)

I am loving this maximum 18 laps per set of tyres, like a proper Indycar race where everyone is pushing hard all race long.

It's happened before; Giancarlo Fisichella did it twice in three years at Sepang.

Correct. And Haas would know as they were penalised a couple seasons ago for doing it in Hungary.
That were tactical orders to pit for tyres which was/is forbidden by the rule (which also was loosened since 2020). Nothing to do with the right starting position. All drivers were cleared in Austria 2022 under the new ruleset for beeing talked into the right startboxes.

Still doesn't change anything on Hülkenberg who just can't make this error.

Do they still need to use 2 different compounds with these rules? If that's the case, McLaren has a problem.

Or did they already use something else than medium?

Yes those rules still apply. Why is it a problem? They will just end on the hard.

There are more than 18 laps left, so everyone still needs to stop at least once

Yeah, my math skills aren't up to the task today. I'll just start drinking already.

Mercedes (Russell) has some pace too. He's got the current fastest lap on hards.

Perez gets another 5 seconds for track limits?
