Updated splits:

0'33.325
1'01.415
1'18.987

Practically at my limit now - probably won't chase the other 1 or 2 tenths that are left out there so the 3 hairs on top my head can rest easy.

Hello everyone,
I qualified earlier this month and this is my very first event :nervous:. This is the fastest I could get after 14 laps.

T1: 0'34.061
T2: 1'02.962
T3: 1'20.966

As novice a racer that I am, I hope I can keep up in the WRS,. Have a great weekend.

Haven't been able to find the time for another run, therefore submitted with my current splits. Good luck to all competitors.

New splits, T1 and T2 are slower, but starting from T3 I'm a little faster. The problem is I'm either fast on the first half of the track or on the second.

I am just not becoming friends with this combo, but some improvements nevertheless

This LinPark post is copy/past from the new driver thread

If you actually mean turn 3 in this picture:

Then you can put all 4 tires outside the white line this week based on my understanding of the rules that have been listed. I failed to notice that wording one week and was a bit too timid in that corner and it cost me a few tenths. If you run it right, you can actually get on the throttle much sooner there and get a very good run out of that corner down to the first split marker. Let's continue this over in the actual WRS 63 thread now and get back to congratulating folks. :)

Good Luck!

Thnx mate. Can the Moderator confirm this please.

I meant turn 3 (don't see turn 2 really as a turn).

If that's really tru then i can go faster in T1.

And can i go with my outside wheels over the grass when i'm with my inside wheels on the yellow rumbles in the busstop?

I'm also unsure of the white line on the outside of turn 3. I have a faster lap but have 3 wheels over that white line.

Roomboter. Rumble strips are part of the track. So if you have 2 wheels on the grass and 2 wheels on the rumble strips or on the track it's clean 👍

That bit of tarmac on the outside of turn 3 has always been useable at Daytona Road in the WRS.

Correct 👍,all tarmac is track.

Race Specifics:

  • All hard surfaces are part of the track; Two wheels on track at all times; No wall hitting.

All hard surfaces are part of the track Edit: sjaak68 beat me to it.

This week looks like we could probably even drop below the yellow line, :sly: though I'm not even attempting it and I'm sure it wouldn't help your time anyway.

Car is very unstable when you come off the banking like that, though.

that was my last shot. improved abit but i think i still loose alot in the busstop.

Gained almost 0.5 seconds on T3 only to lose most of it on the bus stop. Will submit with these splits.
EDIT: Time submitted, good luck everyone. BTW nice avatar spyrrari.

I was unable to improve my time today, even though I can see about 3 tenths left. Submitting with current splits. Good luck everyone in the results.

And there was me thinking that the white line was the border of the track, although there is enough tarmac for all four wheels beyond the white line I took it you were using more than the designated width of the track, how wrong was I.

Phillip.

I'll remember for next time. :dunce:

Time submitted. Had a couple of more sessions, but no further improvements.

Good luck to the rest of you. 👍

Splits for the lap I'm submitting:

T1: 33.848
T2: 1'02.189
T3: 1'19.889

I've had another go and can't improve my time, so I'm submitting with my splits on the board.

Best of luck everyone 👍
