Oh grief... tonight is not my night for this it seems... Got the first couple of laps completed, all thereafter when I tried to push they ended in the famous wall behind T1 already. Spent more time now driving back to the chicane than the right way around...
First splits anyway cause I love watching Fetchbot at work
I was a bit // out of the first part of the bus-stop though I'd love to break in to the 18s, I might set myself that as a target, as I'm free on Thurs/Fri.
Am I the only one that find that hairpin before the first timing beam to be really tough? I try to bring it in early, and I could go and make a cup of tea in the amount of time it takes for me to get back on the throttle, go wide, and I struggle to get near the a-pex. Mind you, tonnes of run off out there. Just a bit of practice me thinks, a bit like that first corner. Still, I normally loose loads of time in this sector at DR.
OK, back with the correct car.
By the way, in the 350 I was getting a 1'20.629 for T3.
My worst corner (besides bus stop) would be the tight left coming onto the oval.
I'm trying to use 3rd gear and keep momentum, but the understeer kills me.
The 2nd corner, I'll have to get back to you on that.
I don't use much runoff though.
Nice improvement on my splits and major improvement at the line! (though that says almost nothing, with my previous splits I was practically standing still at the bus stop )
Did a much faster lap but ended slightly on the grass in the second to last corner but I will be getting a G25 next month to be more competitive but those will be my day 1 splits
Did some first runs, improved what I did in December as preparation on the Academy with more then 2', but from the other splits, I'm still doing it wrong.
Will give in splits, when I figure out what is wrong or if this is really it.
It's a tough track, that first corner is very hard. High speed circuit results in some very tough driving. I jumped on it yesterday and couldn't get within 1/2 a second of my posted split on here.
I don't really want to do this, but this should show how frustrated I am right now.

Yet, I'm .4 quicker at the line. This lap did have a fantastic bus stop, if only I could combine my best T1 and T2 earlier in the lap, and I could go a further .4 quicker at least. In the same session tonight I've done a .305 in T1, and gone on to bugger it up.
