Lingenfelter Sledgehammer

Lotus Cortina...which was posted by NISM0 yesterday
IMG_3699.jpg

dang Nismo, what a post! the Cortina, the "few Camaros", the black Biscayne (which appears to be a 409 car, very rare), the black Vette with the blower poking trough the hood, the spare Lotuses... phew! and that Mercury is not a Turnpike Cruiser, if I remember correctly, the TC had a LOT more options an trim on it (starting with quad headlamps), that seems just like a typical 1957 Monterey or something less so than a TC. But nice catch nevertheless.

Rue screamed:

CANOOOOOOOO!!! GET IN HERE!!!

ok, ok... sheesh...

in order of apparition: 1965 hardtop converted to full road-race use, nice one; 1966 fastback, possibly K-code, awesome 1966 GT-350 ragtop, most surely a custom replica because only SIX 1966 GT350 ragtops were originally produced by Shelby... or this might be one fo them? if so, you were looking at a cool 300-400k worth of Mustang there, which would be extraordinary, that such a signifficant car was left out in a mall... 1967 grandpa-fresh hardtop; very cool 1967 GT, which could mean 390 big-block power; 1967 Shelby GT500 with American wheels, possibly a clone (as who puts those wheels on an original Shelby anyway?); 1971 or 72 ragtop and finally a rare-colour-combo 1972 Mach 1 with bigger than normal Rally wheels, pretty nice.

Joey D: I'm pretty sure the Sledgehammer is actually Callaway, not Lingenfelter. Still nice all the same, but just an observation.

F430 with Novitech wheels?

40th edition Corvette, not really that great, but according to the VIN it was within the top 50's of production.

Red Bull at a static display this morning. David Coulthard's driving it through the city centre this evening, but I expect that will be so crowded I won't get any decent pictures.
