"Shinbō to jikyū-ryoku no shōri to narimasu" - "Patience and endurance lead to victory."

Much like the Mazda MX-5's design style "Jinba ittai" (Rider and horse as one), this Kusabi follows the idea of endurance races and winning them. Which is why I believe that this can win the Tsukuba 9 hours. Maybe against the S2k Turbo, maybe not...but there are 3 valid reasons why this can do it.

1) It's a Mazda on Tsukuba
2) You win it in a race on Tsukuba
3) It's bloody fast and light

This, the Kusabi no Shinbō, is built as an underdog. A car that will live on through the ages as a legend. The question is...can it do it?

There's only one way to find out...

This <3 just got a kusabi and was looking for a tune for it. You are in my head!?! Arggggggh!

Will your tunes be effective online? Or are they tuned for offline?

I did tune them offline but that isn't to say they could be bad online.

I did try the Escudo tune online yesterday and it felt somewhat looser than offline actually, so that is still pretty good.

Here is an MR car that actually got a completely new name from GT4-5, if only by the manufacturer name. Previously Proto Motors, now Oullim Motors.

This Spirra gets through the slowest of corners with no trouble, whether you're trying to keep it under control or not. It's a very well balanced car I feel, and I hope you enjoy this tune of it.

HEY CZ: l've tried your tunes on the 350 nissan fairlady & the 458 italia. Iike the feel of both cars but can't use them to whatever u purposed them 4 as I can't come u out with same gear settings u do wheni set 1st ,'default' 2nd set ur tunes Final gear ratio 3rd set ur tunes top speed(using the slider mph scale athe bottom) 4th setting the gears . The 4th step is where the problem occurs. When I follow the st ing procedure as i've just described, the gear rratio ranges never come close to what islisted. Wwhat am idoing wrong. Canyou post the entie gear setting sequence yo use in your transmission set ups. thanks

Spec II adjustments mean old ratios listed are sort of obsolete. Just use numbers as close to that as possible, it should have the same effect.

Also…The order for setting them is:
- Max Speed
- Final Drive
- Ratios

At least, it should be done that way.

Or add the final setting first then do that. Or swap the final and max speed procedures around altogether.

CZ, just wanted to say thanks for the GT by Citroen tune. It has always been one of my favorite cars even though I couldnt drive it for sh#t. Yours is the 3rd and final tune I have put on it and I have to say it is nothing short of spectacular. The gearing is silky smooth and it handles like it looks "incredible" Even when it did get away from me coming out of a corner it took little effort to straiten it out and get back on the gas. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

This is a Peugeot 106, one of the possible candidates for Chavmobile of choice normally in the UK. But here it looks like a Rallye, despite not being one, and in fact is tuned for a purpose.

Krenkme's 380PP Seasonal Challenge came up and I thought I'd give this the green light for said challenge. It managed to beat 9 other cars in testing, although without my idiocy and ignorance something else could have been faster...until I put it 1PP over the limit.

This is a speedy straight-line tune, but it also gets round the corners with sublime ability too, despite that FF drivetrain. Give it a try and be put into the world of a Peugeot you could actually like.

Yes, this is the Honda N360! Probably not the inspiration for the Xbox 360, but whatever.

This is a 380PP tune, and while it isn't that...fast, it is a car with a true legend behind it. So what are you waiting for? Get it NOOOOOOOOOW

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the U.N. Owen Was Her? Car Remix.

This is a Scion xA, and...hahahahaha! It's a Scion! Hahahahaha! Oh what a terrible badge.

Yet here it manages to be a great tune and actually has a supercharger on it!! :D The xB would be even better for this situation, with a boxy body, supercharger and aero capabilities and much much more but unfortunately the setup I had for that didn't quite come off. You'll be seeing that soon, that's for sure.

But either way, I'm slightly better with Scion now. Just 2 things.

1) Why are Toyota using the badge to market their 86? Looks less flimsy than the Subie look though...and more passionate. But the Toyota look is the boldest and best IMO.

2) It's still a bad badge. Though the tC is supposedly meant to have good tuning potential, enough to have it in S2U, and the xD is...well, XD.

Meet the xBox, which is brilliant. This Scion is many things rolled up into one: hilarious, actually rather fast, good handling, and capable of rolling over the opposition at Cape Ring Periphery in the FF seasonal.

This was one of the candidates for a spot as my main but it was not as fast as the 106. I decided to get rid of the wing that ensured its spot as a 380PP car, and went ahead and used this. It's a good car, I can definitely tell you that. Enjoy. 👍

Coincidentally also wields some awesome wheels to start with. Don't change them ;)

Another car that never gets bought right here.

This is my new Daihatsu Sirion '98, "Mio", who is a car which has probably never been bought ever. But even so...

...there are two versions of this. The 4WD is as the name would suggest, 4WD and therefore is more variable (there's also the X4 which would have been great), but Mio is a 2WD version and FF...so with a pair of SH tyres, you could see what Mio can do in the current FF seasonal. She's at 350PP so Cape Ring Periphery should be doable I hope...

...but Mio isn't one that makes a fuss. Shes's very light on you, very kind, very soft, doesn't show a whole lot off but still.

Also, has anyone noticed how big the headlamps on her actually are? Hmm. :)

Just to note that I have a new batch of cars on share for you to try out and test drive if you all want. Currently it is:

Nian Cat Type-R
The 106 (currently still strictly for the shootout going on)
Lance of Lantis
Hatsune Miku Z4
Daihatsu Sirion "Mio"
And an R390 that has not been released yet, put to GT300 specs.

You know, I've just realised I have both the Mazda 323F and the Lantis 2000R in my garage. I will probably build your Lance of Lantis tune on one of them, I'll get back to you with some feedback soon. 👍

It doesn't matter which it's for, they're identical save for the name right?

Someone actually bought one? OMG man.

They are the same thing, just different name. 323F is the original PAL version from GT4, but the badge looks less cool I guess...still, whatever.

Not one.
I love the cars though, they have a unique smooth look that just strikes a chord with me.

I think they're brilliant as well. Not only do they look damn good but it's got plenty of cylinders under the bonnet, and with my tune it handles really well. Still the most underrated car in the game today by a mile.

Mazda Axela, aka Mazda 3. Maybe the smuggest looking hatchback in the game. With the exception of the Mitsubishi Mirage '97...but I've already tuned that.

The 3 has been face lifted in real life and looks very good, though the hot hatch model of it is rubbish. (Mazda, please make a hot hatch of your wonderful 2 hatchback.)

But this is no rubbish. With a decently high powerplant but crucially a low weight, this is actually very fast in a straight line: more so than many FFs. It stands at 450PP: too high for the current FF seasonal, but then my Lantis is pretty much at 430PP. And you know how well that drives.

But if you're looking for a hatch built to a purpose, then here's your car. Uhuhuhuhu...

Another joke character in the world of GT, but this is quite a lethal one. Oh yes...

It's the Honda Odyssey, and this is a 300bhp+ minivan you see right here. Yeah.

It's also 4WD, which is even better. In fairness though, it is actually very quick in a straight line, and gets your cargo to its destination very quickly.

However, in exchange for some cargo space, we added in a special series of cabinets in the boot ala Range Rover Overfinch. However, unlike said Range Rover, this does not merely hold drinks. It has a selection of drinks in cabinets, but said cabinets have many other things in them. What are they?

You'll have to get one to find out. ;)

Before HKS became a huge name in the world of tuning with their sheer number of parts to fit to all cars over the world, they were showcasing some of their craftwork in the early 90s. This was the first creation they built: the HKS CT230-I.

Based off of the original Lancer Evo at the time, it wasn't particularly impressive looking for a first go, with the model still unpainted and unchanged from stock sans the wing, but it did the job as a car. The turbo fitted to the Evo allowed for remarkable acceleration in the mid range, which given they elected to keep the stock tranny, was an immense help. It fell off the cliff at higher revs but it still impressed.

This was just the beginning for the HKS crew, though...

trackripper123
You found that Axela then?

Yes I did. But you know what took the piss?

I searched for a lot of last night for an Axela, which never came.

Wake up early today, start cycling through the UCD and find the Axela in the second cycle.

Hate it when that happens.

Review of "Lance of Lantis"

Noticing I have two of these smooth cars in my garage, naturally I built one of these on one. I did a double take at first when I saw that the transmission was not the fully custom one, nor was the suspension. Intrigued, I took it out onto the newest 430PP FF seasonal.

First impressions weren't good I'll admit. The first turn I took on SSR5 was poor. The car gripped well on entry but pushed so wide on exit I clipped the outside wall. Feeling that I wasn't doing this tune justice, I kept at it, and slowly, the glorious handling of this car came through. I had to adapt to it a bit, but the sweet spot in the handling is sublime, sharp turn-in, holds nicely mid-corner and just a touch of understeer on the way out. It's fairly rapid too, the 6-speed close ratio box fits this car better than I expected it to. And of course if all else fails you have that lovely burble from the exhaust to lose yourself to.

Perhaps this tune would be even better with the full transmission and suspension kits, I know I would put some negative toe on the car to get rid of that final bit of understeer, but all in all, great work C-ZETA. Two solid firsts in the seasonals on Eifel and SSR5 against the Integra in first shows what this little thing can do.
