Buy a new Ford Mustang Mach 1 (real car was based on the '71 convertible and '71 2+2 sportsroof, but we only has the Mach 1). Change the oil.

Parts to buy:
stage 1 engine tuning
intake manifold
sports exhaust manifold
sport exhaust
fc gearbox
twin-plate clutch
sports flywheel
LSD
FC suspension

and the setup:

powerlimit: 360 hp/265kw

add 131kg to position -50 (1746 @ F:57%)

LSD

height:+20/+15
spring:4.0/3.6
damp ext:3/3
damp com:1/1

brakes:5/5

trans:
first set the top speed to 260kph/160mph
1st:2.320
2nd:1.690
3rd:1.290
4th:1.000
5th:--- real car only has 4 gears
then the final gear to 3.250

If the 5th gear annoys you, you can use the stock transmission, but you wouldn't hit the top speed of 220kph.

Buy a Shelby GT350R '65 from the Used Car Dealer. No rims realy fit (no muscle rims available :( ) so buy whatever you want and paint them black. ECU
sports air filter
intake manifold
sports exhaust manifold
sports catalytic converter
fc gearbox
twin-plate clutch

No problem. I use my spare time making them as similar as possible. 👍

Nice job ich122 on the drift cars. They can get kinda sketchy at their limits from the comfort tires but they are fun anyways. The synergy camaro is amazing though. I forgot how great that cars exhaust note was until building it yesterday.

Upcoming Tunes:
RENNtech SLK38K
RENNtech SL55K
Apex Lethal 750 Viper
Hennessey Venom 800 TT
Lingenfelter TT Corvette Stage II
Mazdaspeed Protege

Buy a new Ford Mustang V8 GT '07. For rims you go with the American Vintage Torq Thrust and paint them a darker grayish silver. The original car is painted "Highland Green", the Mazda MX5 NC has a Highland Green Mica, but thats way to dark. I painted mine dark torquise green from a Suzuki Cappuccino, which is the clostest green I've found jet.
Change the oil after installing all parts.

Parts to buy:
chassis reinforcement
stage 3 weight reduction (for correct weight distribution)
ECU
sports air filter
sport exhaust (I went with the catalytic converter instead for sound/optical reasons)
fc gearbox
LSD
FC suspension

and the setup:

add 194kg to position +50 (1530 @ 57/43)

powerlimit: 235kw/315hp

Thx mate, yeah, the D1s are tricky to drive, especially the R35.

also have some in my WIP-Garage:
Ford Mustang Bullitt '01
AC Schnitzer Eagle (Mini Cooper JCW R56)
TOM'S S630 Aristo
HKS RX7 FD3S (Wastegate Series Full Turbine Kit)

Also will start research for some Holden/HSV next week.

I definitely don't have that color, the Audi A2 looks :yuck: .^^
I'm happy with my color, it looks different ingame then on that screen and for me, its close enough. And most important, it's available for anyone at every time. But thanks for the offer and the advise. 👍

I also have found a Discussion here on GTPlanet about that color, it's about 4 pages long.^^

Love this!!! Is it specifically Highland Green you wanted, as I have Highland Green Mica. If you want this let me know, and you can have a few pots.

Edit: JUst saw your comment re: the Mica.

This big Volvo handles surprisingly well for its heft, and it's quite stable. Acceleration is good and it brakes well. Push to hard through a corner and you get understeer, but let off the
gas and it handles great. Enjoy.

Nissan R390 Gt1 Road Car (hopefully correct version)(INCOMPLETE)
nissan_r390.jpg

Buy an R390 GT1 Road Car, get the oil change andthe chassis rebuild if possible.

Weight reduction stage 3
Engine Tuning stage 1
Low RPM turbo
FC transmission
FC suspension

Add weight until you reach 1098kg.

final: 3.23
1st:2.65
2nd:2.06
3rd:1.63
4th:1.38
5th:1.12
6th:0.93
Top Speed: i forget the number, all the way up
height:0/0
spring:9.4/9.4

damp ext:8/8
damp com:5/5

cam:0.5/0.5
toe:0.00/0.5

The torque setting is much higher in the game than in real life, if anyone can confirm that similar power can be reached with a stage 3 engine tune ill throw that in instead.

Its a very quick car on courses that dont require you to do high speeds...the power leans out near 7000rpm like some sort of stupid muscle car, but its not THAT noticable until after 4th gear.

In real life, the R390 gt1 road car produces appr.540 horsepower opposed to the 350 in the game. It also weights a bit less and can speed up to anywhere from 196 mph to 205.

The version in gran turismo is grossly unrealistic and unfeasable compared to the real car, and this isnt the ony victim (the lister storm v12 race car weighing appr. 300kg less in real life), so i sort of set out to make things a bit more real.

Seeing how the transmission, power and weight arent from the real car, most likely the suspension settings are incorrect also, and there is no evidence that Nissan or TWR made an R390 road car with different suspension settings from the racecar.

Ah ok, understand that.
Will be hard, if not impossible to find the real suspension specs, all I found out is only two were made, found two different specs for power and weight (1098kg/1027kg; 540ps/560ps). What I also found: it uses and 6-speed X-Trac (sequential) manual transmission, which is the same like the Mercedes Benz CLR GT and CLK LM, but haven't found the ratios yet.
