Great update man! I particularly like the Celica pics. I am in the middle of creating an update with the very same car - great stuff!

The Supra pics are definitely the best of the bunch IMO. I like the brushed look you have used, and the second pics is just great with the lense flare!

The Integra pic is fantastic, your choice of rims is great, and I like how the red caliper is visible.

Keep up the good work! :dopey:

Amazing pics ALPHA 👍 👍

The 1st Celica pic looks real!! 👍

Those Supra pics are just perfect

I really love the Integra shot, it really stuck in my head after I saw it in the competition :)

The Elise is also very nice, the car is so sharp and clear!

Awesome update ... everything looks so realistic
btw I foresee some greatest TT photos from you soon

Cheers, for the feedback :). I find it difficult to write comments let alone original ones, I do look through your galleries though!

Wow, the pics look so crisp! 👍 This is the first time I like a backfire shot, well done. The custom lightfall is excellent too, I gotta try that out. Also, have you selected the colored things, and desaturated the rest? I really like the look man. 👍

P.S. I hope you like my pics too. :)

The last two Pace Cars are simply amazing. The combination of black & white and the low apperature make them...dare I say it? Perfect.

^Indeed.

Amazing work on those last 3 shots, ALPHA. The framing - as usual - is also perfect. 👍

Very nice shots alpha.
I love the 350Z most. The brake lights drew my attention on the first moment. Also the flames in that shot look great. Normally I don't like them but you sure made them look good. The Pace car shots are also very well taken and edited. The lights look hot.

Thanks for the comment in my gallery!
cheers

After suffering at the hands of a 500mhz behemoth of a computer for 7-8 years, the family finally decided on getting a new computer. However now that I’ve experienced the difference between CRT and LCD displays first hand, I can firmly say that my photomode pictures have never looked so bad, why?

With the old computer I was adjusting the brightness accordingly, and because it didn’t have a particularly good monitor (anything dark looked black) everything has resulted in turning out overly brightened. The solution, start work on the CRT, review the results on the LCD and visa versa.

Cheers, I think backfire has to be taken at the right time and angle for it to “work”. Now that the “OMG bakf1ire in GT4!!111” effect has worn off since the game’s release, when used sparingly, I believe it can be quite attractive.

I duplicated the coloured layer and desaturated it, erasing areas of the brake lights and backfire to let them show through. This was followed by the subtle post work, like the brake and car glows and Adjustment Layers, mainly Colour Balance and Levels.

Again thanks for the comments everyone, finding the time to write decent comments after looking through your galleries is very hard (I’m easily distracted). I will get there!

Now for some Tourist Trophy!

Awesome shots, ALPHA. I was riding this same bike at Nurb last night but I couldn't make any good times with it. My best "clean" lap was 7'50, but I crashed once during this lap. Damn bumps!
