Great pictures ALPHA! I swear some members should be the people that take the screenshots for the press release for new GT games!

I recently took some shots there as well but they look completely different; great angles you found there. 👍
You what? Can’t believe I’ve missed it!

Krame
I'm still debating if i should get this game when it comes out.
By all means do, but maybe not right away. If Photomode wasn’t included in the game, it would suffer from a major lack of replay value.

By the way, House rocks. 👍
Except when every second episode’s “medical mystery” turns out to be a tumour! 👎:grumpy:

Hey, we’ve all had over a year to get familiar with Photomode, the press people get a considerably smaller amount of time. ;)

Cheers for the positive feedback everyone, although there isn’t much hope for any inspiring Photomode at my end for a while. Why? I snapped the left analogue stick on my controller through rigorous wear and tear :embarrassed:. So after salvaging an analogue stick from another DS2 everything was back to normal. For about fifteen minutes.

The directional and R1 buttons decided to play dead, so I’ll probably get around to poking it with a stick later. The goodish news is that I’ve got an original DualShock that I can use in the meantime, however its lack of pressure sensitivity makes life that much more difficult!

I’ve also started redoing my best photos at 300dpi and CMYK so they can be printed as 4 x 6 in prints, so far they look stunning (except really close up, and by that I mean “crappy-texture-detection” close ;)).

…and that’s all we’ve got time for folks! :)

yes! hell yeah! im gonna own TT by thursday..i just happen to pass on a game shop when i saw the effing game on the screen..sweet isht! by the way,do you start the game just like GT4 or is it different?

by the way...great shots man! seeing your shots make me more excited on getting the game.. :mischievous:

damn alpha, that last shot of the bike on Nurb is amazing. i can not wait to get the game tomorrow. the pics you will be able to take will be sick

It’s been a while since I posted/commented on anything; so—uh, here’s a low–res taste of things to come.

Awesome alpha ... best tone ever for the ring
the blur somehow makes me perceiving it as a miniture model taking by marco mode
but it looks very real at the same time

Hey Alpha ... this is a loooong wait for the update
you simply tease and let people forgetting
Stunning is the word to describe! I am wondering how you can get these angles? seriously I haven't seen any of them before. Did you get special code from VV or something?

I really appreciate the comments; I’ll be returning them soon…

franz, yep I’m pretty slow these days. As much as I’d love to know VV’s secrets, he didn’t play a part here. ;)👍

I was forwarded a link to a Nürburgring breakout video (could only really replicate it with the Charger, car length related I presume). I drove it around the centre of the circuit following opponent vehicles (the DB9) for a couple of laps, saved and loaded the replay.

As the Dodge is “off course” the primary replay views didn’t work, and the music video/dive replay was too limiting. Instead I used the 3rd person view and with some clever positioning of the car (trial and error) captured some aerial shots; the limitations of using the 3rd person view for photos meant minimal flexibility.

I think with Action Replay there’s a turbo code meaning you can break out anywhere on any track—I’d love too see some new angles around Suzuka.

Great shots man, pure eye-candy. I like the miniaturish look the gaussian blur gives to the pics, very nice. 👍 But the break-out thing sounds a bit time-taking, so I don't think I'll try it cause it may take a while to get a good angle I guess.

This time, keep your shots up in time, haha. ;)

Thanks Alpha ... now I have something new to try
actually these shots remind me the credit movie in GT4
their tone are almost identical 👍

I've saw that jet travels over circuits before, without Action Replay, but its aplication in Photomode overwhelm myseft :odd:

Now I also have another objective to reach, but I won't be the pioneer.

WOW that fpv shot is amazing!!!
+rep
swing by my gallery if you have the time

Great update man, though it's taken nearly a year to produce . The last shot is awesome. The shot showcases the beauty of the track more than the car. The "S" curve on the portion of track you captured is awesome. Great work 👍

now i see the photos. i can finally see what everyone's talking about. they are great. the first shot is just breathe taking. i was hoping to do somehing like that but i didn't bother with the rest of the replay. didnt have much time..
anyways, the rest of the photos look great as well. hope you update the gallery pretty soon. ciao!

I only use flickr for hosting my photos being sure they won't be deleted. But I discovered the notification by chance, so following the links I saw some of your GT photos. I don't know why, many of them are unknown for me, so I created a new "GTP galleries V2" folder now to save those glories now.

Yeah, since I formatted the HD some months ago I stopped adding GT stuff to my personal archive. Now it's the time of starting it again, taking a whole look to your gallery while hearing a new great ASOT trance session.

In other hand, I followed another flickr link in your gallery by the way, but I don't know who is that guy. I remember his photos posted in the real photographic thread in other GTP sub-forum, but I just can't remember the user. I was amazed with the Impreza and FTO images... brutally exotic OMG!!!

In a while probably I'll add some words to this post, when this tour will be finished :). Let's start then!

If you made things like this when 16 (Subtle photo texture huh? :D), I must be owned now. In some way Perfect Balance is comming to my mind, because he also had a stunnig photographic taste and editting skills when young.

My gallery has been inspired in many things of GTP, I believe your super lighting and tone is one of them. Very realistic and very natural, the soft colors, specially the skies and greens are something I always wanted in my pics.

Your photographic taste is also very noticeable... some easy shots wich are overstanding at the same time.

One of the best images I can remember is this one. The speedy and caotic feeling is insane. To be honest tried to do that some times, but I couldn't really. The editting is nothing special compared with your tone mapping, but the photo itself is very good.

The Spyker batch is one of those gloty updates. You must have been very inspirated to do that. Brilliant in all sides, spectacular colors and great use of original lights.

The Motorsport Elise at Nür in another photo I can clearly remember, similar to the Danger Orange's blue Elise at Monaco, both going by sideways. These are one of my favorite Motorsport Elise ever.

The next honorific thophy is for the Nür from the air batch. You have to know I've copied that idea :P, the photos are still waiting for chopping, but your idea is a thing I always was searching for at the Ring, so I couldn't resist. Shamely my version won't improve yours.

And I've reached the end of your thread... so some photos haven't been been released yet :D. Hope to see an update soon to complete the tour, and see new things if were possible ;)
