Thanks Corne đź‘Ť

Does anyone know if there's a post explaining what's going on with the multi-coulerd results in the first post, I'm a little confused about that. Sorry.

Blue = div 1
Orange = div 2
Pink = div 3
etc...
So you can see the handicapped/overall results without having to refer to the divisional results to know who's in what div. That's what I gather anyway.

Hope to get some good feedback/advice on my lap. What a blast its been.
Thanks for all the hard work.

(stylish lap mate đź‘Ť)

Thanks for checking mate :cheers:.

I was a little :nervous: going through the final bend. I could feel the wheels starting to slip & the car pulling to the left of the track :scared: Thank goodness there was a double layer of rumble strip near the finish, or the lap would have been dirty.

Here's my replay, hope it's in the correct format!

Hehe, yeah I used just about all of that on my lap too :cool: Yours looked pretty tidy on the whole though, mate. đź‘Ť

Here's my PAL replay
Looks like I got demoted to division 3 :grumpy:

That was two laps with completely different driving approaches.

tnt89 could benefit from taking it a bit easier. Brake points were a bit late, you were a little early and heavy on the throttle out of corners and steering inputs were too large. You would benefit a lot from just taking it all down a bit and not push as much. With tyres as slippery as these smoothness is key. You should also try to not use traction control. If you learn to drive without it you will almost always be quicker in the WRS time trials

EG on the other hand was too cautious. Braked unnecessarily early and waited to get on the throttle a bit too long. Very tidy on the other hand. Nice touch to keep the windscreen wipers on to be prepared in case of a sudden downpour. đź‘Ť

If you were to combine your two approaches it would probably have resulted in a 1'05.5 lap. :D

Please takes this as it is intended, a friendly guidance to help you improve yourself.

Thanks for the comments it is really appreciated I might even improve from it:)

Wind screen wipers on to avoid all the annoying big bugs:)
Never got around to do a better lap so had to look at it ALL week!!

Well, given how much I didn't think that the combo suited me, I am happy with the results and making top 10 in my division.

Replay attached (hope it's in the correct format!)

Thanks to all the admins for all their hard work đź‘Ť

How come I still have to upload replay anyone know?????

To make sure you're not cheating. Same as almost every single person in WRS for week 1 (me included).

Well, given how much I didn't think that the combo suited me, I am happy with the results and making top 10 in my division.

Congrats to fellow Div 3 top ten! (I squeaked in!) I'd check you but I think you're PAL version?

Congrats to all, what a turn-out! Loving the new handicap results listing - shows me up rather badly! I can't wait until I can really commit to this, only two more weeks of training left :D

Last run was on Wednesday or Thursday. Should have more time most weeks.

I will dig up my replay tonight and post it đź‘Ť

I have a noob question around this..

>> Division 1: Par: 1'04.472 Gold: 1'04.687 Silver: 1'04.903 Bronze: 1'05.119

My time of 1'04.858, does that put me in Silver? The way I read it is that Gold times are 1'04.686 and below, Silver times are 1'04.687 - 1'04.902 and Bronze is 1'04.903 - 1'05.119?

Thanks Anghammarad. I really do need some help with my lap don't I? This car was a nightmare for me. Trying to feather the throttle with the DS3 was the hardest part, especially mid corner. I will try and take your advice into this weeks events and hopefully i will see an improvement! :scared:

Thanks again for checking my replay and the friendly advice. đź‘Ť

Almost:
Gold is 1'04.687 and below (rating 0-1.333)
Silver is 1'04.688 - 1'04.903 (rating 1.334-1.666)
Bronze is 1'04.904 - 1'05.119 (rating 1.666-1.999)

If we hit a certain time and have a verified lap does that mean we get promoted? If so I've gone up a division... :embarrassed:...

If you produce a track record and repeatedly score in the division above your placement, you'll get promoted.

But not on the basis of a single event.

The medals and ranking just gives you an idea where your performance places you on that particular day, and where you would have been placed, had the event in question been a full qualifier.

Congrats to the podium winners and all who tried to tame this beast đź‘Ť

Replay attached.

Pretty poor showing from me this week, 41'st in my league after qualifying in 8th! Didn't get much time to practice and tune though so it was a pretty standard setup.

Hopefully this week I am gonna be able to give a more impressive showing. I had a quick go with my pad after a few beers and seemed to like the setup! Can't wait to get onto the wheel (took me 3 attempts to type whhel, whell, wheel then) for it!

Thanks to the admin for getting us up and running. Looking forward to some stiff competition as always! Once I quit my job I will be able to put in more time to this as well!

I've had a look around and cant seem to find any way apart from capturing to upload a video replay... Any pointers?

That's what I figured, fancy new scoring format just got me curious, thanks đź‘Ť

The only way to upload a video of your replay is to capture. You can upload your replay file so it can be downloaded and checked. Look herehttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=176743
This reminded me that earlier I was thinking it might be cool if the results page had a column next to the replay for a link to a YouTube video of the replay. I get pretty good results with my cell phone and it's easy to do, so if people were interested in sharing that way it would be much easier to watch a few replays rather than all of that USB copying. (Not for verification of course.)

I'm very happy to see my results, and very happy to be a part of the WRS :)

I'll post up my replay later this evening.
