Hello, and welcome to JG's Tune Shop. I am a 1-man tune shop who specializes in tuning... Wait, I don't specialize, I tune what I can get my hands onto =P Although I do prefer tuning cars in the 450-600 HP range, as anything under or over that is a little too little or too much power, although that doesn't mean I don't tune cars of other power classes. Also, you may make requests for cars, but you must review a tune if you want guarantee's that I'll do it.

Tunes for cars made for Sport Soft tires should transfer pretty well to Racing Tires (slightly harder spring rates may be needed). But the other way around is not always the case.

I use a DS3 for my tunes. People have said that a good tune for a DS3 may not be good for a wheel. Just so you may consider it.

This shop is still relatively new, and I am by no means the best tuner here at GTP. But these cars are all tuned to the best of my abilities, and who knows, maybe someday I will become one of the best.

Also, the listed power output and torque for the newest cars (post-28th April) is calculated, not actually tested. So minor inaccuracies are to be expected. PP for said cars is also an approximation.

Important: As of the 2nd August 2011, all cars have been tested online. No fixes though I'm way too lazy. Instead, all tuned marked in Red should never have been taken online in the first place. Meanwhile, Green tunes are actively recommended for online use. But most tunes, you're better off finding a dedicated online tune.

Normal Tunes
These are normal tunes. (Often) maxed out, and often not taken too long to make them. The older ones all use R3 tires, but the newer ones use S3. All older tunes SHOULD transfer pretty well to S3 tires though. But no guarentees.

Reworked the original California TE, which tune you can still find if you search my threads. Handles a little better, goes a little faster... Yeah. Good all-round car... If you consider 672 HP and a ****ton of torque pulling just over 1300 kilos to be all-round, that is.

I've always had a soft spot for the Ford Focus, for absolutely no reason, as I've never driven one. But this has to be my favourite of all I've driven and tuned before. So much in fact, that I'll give it a nickname. Ladies and gentlemen, meet The Black Lightning. Looks almost street-legal if not for the Matte Black paint, Electric Orange rims and spoiler. Laps the 'Ring in 7:08, easily sub-7 in the hands of a better driver. Trashes an NSX in a drag race. What more is there to say?

Miracle on 4 wheels. That is all that can be said. Not ideal for Daytonas or barely Nordschleifes, but on Deep Forest Raceway it's .3 seconds faster than a maxed out ZR1 RM. And that's saying something. And on top of that, it's a pleasure to drive. When I was done tuning this, I spent like 2 hours just lapping around Deep Forest again and again. Pretty much anybody can drive this.

I assume you mean the California? And I got it via a trade before the limit, but as you can see you can get it via UCD.
 
I just got 1,17.701 with my tune on deep forest raceway just faster than my shelby cobra I'm now going to try your tune and then make a comparison
 
1,17.874 my tune but only 1,18.408 with your tune the car doesn't seem to corner as smoothly and although the back end does start to flick out a bit when you brake into a corner it then turns in the opposite direction and often causes you to crash into a wall I used the standard transmission settings on my tune and did 2 extra laps in your tune just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I also found myself crashing into walls and going off the track much more often in your tune.

Whatever you're doing, you're doing it wrong. I just lapped it 'round in 1:13.748. Are you sure you followed the EXACT tune with the EXACT parts? To me it sounds like the wrong tires.
 
Maybe. But take this to PM if you want to continue this. Unless you have more to review of course? BTW, after a few laps, I got 1:12.1xx with my tune, and 1:13.7xx with your basic setup. So maybe driving style has a lot to dictate.

Before you start saying that I ruined the design of the car, I know. But it was near-impossible to get a decent tune without the downforce from a wing, so I fitted a wing. And after that I just used the tried and tested "If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing" method. Just be glad I didn't paint it lime green with bubblegum pink rims.

Considering that this is a 664 HP british supercar weighing it at 1387 KG, it's surprisingly nimble, handling almost every turn on the TGTT with relative ease. Only the second turn was a bit troublesome. But be warey anyways; however much it thinks otherwise, this is still a 1387 KG, 664 HP supercar. However much anyone says otherwise.

You think the DB9 was insane? This is 5 times that... 100 HP more, weighing about the same, and enough torque to fuse you to your seat. Yet for some wierd reason, this beast handles so much better than the DB9, which slides out fairly easily, you almost have to violently force this one out, at least if you drive it properly. But like the DB9, remember. This is a 764 HP british mo****a of a supercar.
 
I'd like to test them but thanks to the god awful rewards from the recent seasonals and being totally reluctant to start grinding I have no money to buy and tune :(

Seeing as this car already has a decent speed balance, I didn't want to touch the engine, except the oil. So I just messed with the handling instead. I eliminated most of the understeer, but left a little so it still feels a little like a german supercar. Albeit a good-handling one. Laps the 'Ring in 6:39, probably around 6:30 in the hands of a better driver.
