Tuned 16th February 2012. Standard Model. This is a drastically different approach to tuning this car and it seems to have worked. I have only driven it at Grand Valley but it feels like there is far more grip than before.

Tricky car to tune and drive but it is fast. I retuned this. The old tune was undrivable on RH tires and even had engine limiting, now it's much improved. Not tested online yet.

Hi dude, how would you like to be part of TPT? I've just recruited another tuner, there are two of us at the moment, but I would be happy to take on another too. Let me know what you think.
thanks alot jack

No thanks. I will just run a 1 man garage. Having more members is an advantage to get the thread bumped more but I have more freedom with my own garage. At avid, one of my tunes wasn't listed in the first post because I was asked to redo it and I didn't want to. Now avid isn't maintained. I might like to tune a car that has already been tuned etc, so I prefer to have my own tune house.

Tuned 14th April 2012. Premium model. Tuned for Nuringburg ring. Gets round the ring in 7:03 which seems alright, I don't have another 500PP lap time to compare it to yet though, but it does seem pretty close to some lap times I have done in 550PP cars. This tune was reborn from the 490PP tune below. This has reworked gearbox and suspension tweaked for racing soft tires, it is just far improved overall. This is very bad online, I have not looked at changes to make for online yet.

No worries mate I understand.

But i'll tell you this, at TPT you have complete freedom, just as much as you would here. Only difference being you cant edit OP, but if you wanted to add something to it all you gotta do is ask, I'm on GTP nearly everyday and check my thread regularly do I doubt I would miss a setup you added.

Anyway if you change your mind let me know, you are always welcome.

Thanks

Tuned 1st January 2012. Standard Model. Nurbergring 6:08.364

I have tweaked this a few times and strangely it's still not too far from the tune I made when GT5 was first released (available at Avid Racing Factory).

This has less understeer than most of my tunes and is very fast, so if you don't like my tunes generally, then this one might be an exception. I love this tune and I have done one of my fastest laps of Nurbergring with this tune.

The bulk of the tuning and testing for this tune was done at Laguna Seca and with a mid RPM turbo. If you run with less horsepower, set transmission final ratio to 3.660. For any track where high speed is not necessary, you can set 6th gear to 0.844.

Feedback on old tune:

tatfa:
Thank you for the tune i could not do anything with this car 2 days ago now i get 1.01.996 around Rome (soft race tyres traction control 1 abs 1 all others off except skid control).. Great job !! Pre tune traction 10 abs 10 and no joy at all !

GVLJ:
I love this tune. I made a wee bit of an error though when I first drove it - forgot to play around with the LSD settings after turbo-charging it up to over 800hp... All fine until I buried the throttle coming out of a third gear corner, lit up the rears and pirouetted! Have had a play, but still not entirely happy - any suggestions for LSD settings at this power level would be appreciated (though I might just de-select the turbo in future)...Cheers!

Laughlyn:
Just use dteh tuning on a fully upgraded version restricted down fo rthe seasonal GT event and it worked amazingly well. hugged the corners and flew round indy 500. top notch tune

Avid eh? As I've said many times in various threads, I do believe that they (or he) does tune very well, and I'm sure vett'e will be very pleased to see that you've branched out 👍 I should tell him, shame he ain't around……

Anywho……I might give these a go, and show vett'e what his fellow tuners are producing now :D

Notes:
This car seems to be very popular with many requests for tunes. This was my first car in GT5 but the only mods I did was gold paint, wheels, carbon bonnet and rear wing. It seems that many people want more from their Civic. To meet the demand for tunes I bought another civic and went to town on it. This car is tuned for only one thing: speed. This will do Suzuka in 2:06.685.

This is an early tune of mine from Avid Racing Factory.

Works well with the 91 Prelude SI as well, thank you:)

Requirements: full weight reduction, FC suspension, drive train mods, increased rigidity, all HP mods.

Notes:
This car was tricky to tune. After buying all the mods I really struggled to get any settings to work. I bought a second one and installed only increased rigidity, FC suspension, FC differential. After tuning that car I had somewhere to start with the full tuned car. I haven't spent as much time on this as I would like so I might be able to refine the tune some more, but as it is it's not so bad.
