controller , so when testing this will be mentioned ofc , yet the controller does not as well as a wheel ofc . reason of staying with the controller is that i belive most people don't have 300-ish $ for a wheel therefor a controller review is more usefull in general .
that and my wife won't allow to have a complete cockpit-seat in the living room

Tuned 9th December 2011. Standard Model. Tuned for 550PP Nürburgring. The other Corvette I tuned turned out excellent so I am going to tune a whole lot of other model Corvettes.
This car will not likely be as fast as some other cars tuned to 550PP. It has a 3 speed gearbox and it's horsepower is all at mid rpm range.
The tune aims to preserve a classic feel but have far improved performance. The car had some gremlins to start with but now they are mostly fixed. You will still need to pay attention with this car and take special care at the end of the Nürburgring lap: roll out of throttle and coast a little before the braking zone to avoid a high speed crash.
grrrr ... its the only Corvette i don't have , time to haunt it of the usd . can't wait to give it a run around the track . ( yes i love racing american muscle )
Today i logged in and i found a very early X-mas surprise there ... A C2 corvette ( my secret santa was Slayer241991 it was a trade pending i totally forgot about ) anyways i got another car to test lol ...
Lately my list is getting longer and longer ....
Well, I have had a nice break over Xmas. I have put on some ballast so I will have to do some weight reduction in the new year. Some more work to be done in my garage soon and some new tunes.
Aardvark Garage wishes all the GTPlanet tuning community the best holiday season and a happy new year.
Enjoy. It's 650PP and maybe the best tune I have done so far. I would love someone who can really drive good laps at Nurbergring to test it: see if it can get under 6:00.

This tune is below average in terms of how nicely it drives compared to my other tunes. While I was testing I had a tune I was happy with but it was not fast enough to meet the time required for the challenge.
I attempted to drive at or below 7:15 with many different setups but with these exact settings I went fast enough in my first lap. If I can tweak the tune to drive nicer and still be as fast I will update the settings here.
As it is, I don't recommend anyone go to the trouble to try this tune. It is here merely to document the tune I used to complete the Ring Masters Challenge.
I'm wondering as a fellow Aussie if you have tried to tune any of the Aussie cars and if not weather you would consider tuning a SS commodore to say a tune of around 600pp i could even supply the car and parts if needed
i have had a go at tuning it but i would like to see how a tune from you compares as i'm new to tuning
Hey mate just wanted to say I really like this tune. Tried another one but wasn't very good. Yours is relatively easy to control as long as you watch the throttle. Fun to drive as well. Cheers.

Tuned 25th April 2012. Premium Model. Tuned for 600PP Nürburgring online time trial event. Fast enough for me to get 6:50 with a shagged out old DS3 controller, not too bad I think for a 4000 pound Camry.
