There have been more and more threads about drag racing in the past few months than ever before; and they are going to increase. GME and dr_slump have covered SSR7, but *Jeremy Clarkson voice* no one has yet dared to venture into the land where some..... call Indy. This is where I come in. After many many many people asking me to give out my tunes, I yielded to their requests.... sort of :lol:

My Tunes:
~ Are obviously not the ones I personally use.
~ Are a good place to start and will beat most of the people you run in to.
~ Are epic :D



I will start with the cars in class 3 or 4 and work my way up (Click HERE if you have no idea what I'm talking about). The Enzo, ACR and Le Mans tunes will be posted last :)

True but it's hard to see a slr that beats my gtr and my slr can't, it hurts but I'm working on it.
 
I must say im impressed man, you started from scratch, now you have a huge bunch of proper tuned drag cars for 1/4 mile....(y) I also like your personal style, that is matte black paint and blue wheels, very good.

SLR shouldn't beat GT-R if they're both tuned... But still pretty close.

But yea, going through every car, taking the specs, getting the tune but editing it so you will still be the fastest.... a lot goes into this.

I have a couple of 1/4 mile cars, but i dont play gt5 as much any longer, you want the setups, maybe you could take a look at them, or do what ever you want.

I've tried out the Mustang tune. I thought it was great, however I'm very new to drag racing in gt5. I've only tried it out online a couple of times and am trying to get the hang of how everything works. Hopefully haven't pissed off too many people in the process. All I can ask is for your patience.
I found that your tune is very capable of beating other similar cars, I even beat a truck or 2 lol! When I ran it, I got to around 140mph by the end of my run. Still need to work on my shifting. Sometimes I am still spinning thru 3rd. I was wandering if that was similar to the numbers you get from it?
I've been working on a car myself that I think has far greater potential than I can tap into. I've gathered knowledge from the forums and have achieved a little success at reaching my goal with this car and was wandering if you'd have a look at it to critique my set-up if you get a chance.
Much respect for opening a dedicated 1/4 mile shop. Nice work so far. I'll give the 300 a go next. Thanks!

Yes shifting is very critical. You must get it perfect or you mess up your whole run. As for spinning, this particular Mustang is very front heavy. I added a bit of ballast but it will still be very slippery off the line.

Glad to get a new member into dragging 👍
