Don't be sorry. Sometimes, people need a good smack to remind them of something called common knowledge. KPH is more widely used than MPH. Undisputed fact that most people should know.

Exactly. USA is the ONLY country in the world who use only MPH. A few countries accept both, but still. Even England uses KPH as it's official speed value.

Look at where he's from. That should probably explain it. And even if common knowledge is lacking, there's still common sense. Think a bit. A 200hp-ish honda, turbo or N/A, no matter how light or aerodynamic, wouldn't have the guts needed to get it to 261, so why set it so high? If it seems faintly ridiculous a number, try it in a different measuring system, see if it makes more sense and if it works.

Even England uses KPH as it's official speed value.

No they don't. The whole UK does use mph (and drives on the left hand side for good measure). If I know I have a kph value at hand I'll just use Google Chrome's handy calculator to get the value I want. Simples.

Officially, the UK uses KPH, it's just they are in a transition phase, getting everything ready for the switch, etc.

KPH is the only real way to measure speed. ONE country in the world uses MPH as their official unit of speed. So get used to KPH if you wish to frequent this tune shop.

EDIT: Sorry if I sounded harsh, but you really should have thougth that through before launching what was close to a verbal murdering on me.

Maybe I'm just a dumby, but isn't MPH used then more then one country? The UK and USA? :nervous:

EDIT= dumby I just read the above posts :dunce:

None other than my dad told me, lol. People in UK, you may correct me if you wish, but I'm fairly sure that is the case (transition phase).

Well then yeah, all our speedometers, road signs and speed limits are all in MPH. There's been no announcement of transitioning to KPH here, hence the confusion.

If it goes anything like Canada's transition they will still have roadsigns listing both for the next 20-30 years.

A car requested by someone, and I fugured I'd do it as I was bored. Tuned for endurance, so a slight understeer to conserve tires. Lethal if underestimated, but usually nothing serious. Example: It requires a dead perfect line, but you can go flat out through Eau Rouge in this thing. But I would advise a tap of the brakes. Especially if penalties are on.

The follwing bit of text is to be read in Jeremy Clarksons voice.

This, is a Ferrari. Possibly the most iconic of all car manufacturors. Also one of the most insane. This, is a Ferrari. Never meant to be tamed into an endurance machine, never has been tamed to an endurance machine. It still hasn't. This thing will still om nom nom on your tires, nothing can stop it. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Another car where turning has been the victim of endurance. But also again, where it's only a problem if you underestimate it.

For those of you who weren't aware, I love Supra's. A lot. I really, really love Supra's. So therefore, it only made sense for me to tune my favourite Supra of all time. The RZ of 1997.

UPDATE 2.0: I have revamped the tune a bit and fixed some of the problems that Onboy mentioned. Acceleration is minorly improved, but adjusting the Final Gear and you can have your own gear ratios. But, I have noticed one thing. The higher the Final Gear, the more understeer this car has. That's just how it is.
sorry im a new to this game but i have trouble setting the gearbox on this thing. I have the top speed at 290 but i cant put in the first 3 gears properly as those numbers arent available.

Re-set the transmission to default, enter the gear ratios, then enter the final gear ratio. Should display the top speed of 290 in upper right corner. Leave the top speed slider alone as that will re-set the gears. 👍👍

If it goes anything like Canada's transition they will still have roadsigns listing both for the next 20-30 years.

We only have those at the boarder and the first 2 kilometers so the Americans can figure out that 100 KPH is not 100 MPH.That is pretty funny though.

Not sure why you even need speed signs on most of the so called roads up there. Nothing to run into except the occasional Elk or Moose and they can more than take care of themselves!

Also would how much grip or handle would the supra lose if i had some power to it. Most of the guys i race cars are 600hp and up and i dont think ill keep up as is.

If you make it 600 HP, that tune will only apply as very basuc, is my guess. Sorry.

I can tell you from around 4-ish months of experience with this tune that it'll fall to pieces at the sight of any more power. Even a boost of 10hp adds 10 yards of understeer, leave alone 200hp.

To put it basically, 336hp JG Supra = battle king with epic handling, 725hp Supra = battleship handling.

I don't really like this car. It understeers. A trait of the car, not the tune, as trust me, I tried close to everything to cure it. I think it's the 4WD that's doing it. Either way, still pretty fast. Just not really fun.

Have you taken a look at this this since LSD's were added to the TC cars?

You are son, ill say jg from now on i suppose. So you workin on that 600 hp supra yet?:)

He's not working on anything at this moment, he hasn't responded to the request, just discussed. Unless he replied through PMs, that is.
