Now I'll try again. Had message wrote and all last night on my iPhone then it crashed and I hadn't saved a draft and I had stuff to do for work...
I think it's fair to say, Omnius, that you have the heaviest workload out of the three I mentioned. You select three different car regulations every week - some more comprehensive than others with PP, BHP, drivetrain, aero allowed, even make/model specific. You create a track every week, then you test drive it. If it isn't quite right, then you go back and change it, then it needs tested again. Goodness only knows how many laps and hours you put in in a week doing that. Post-race, you probably watch the replays from every drivers' own angle to get the highlight reel prepared in case you miss something exciting - 20 or 30 minutes multiplied by X amount of racers. And you're always a total gent on the track.
I feel very humble sharing a track or a lounge with you, almost to the point of feeling bad. And - being brutally frank here - of late I have been feeling that I should be donating toward the work that you do, coz I know that I dont give you half the gratitude that you fully deserve. You spend all that time all week preparing an incredible night of racing - all I do is wait for 830pm to come along on a Friday evening, turn on the PS3 and take my place on the grid that has so patiently been prepared for me.
I will be gutted to see the end of Trident as I have a love for it and for all those who compete in it. I wanna make a few suggestions - you can discard them as you wish, but I will be burdened until I speak.
We need to reduce your workload.
Do something like what Warrius does in the ZC and use one car for all races in a week, or what Ade has lined up in the SC for the whole season - all tuned to the exact same spec. It would make for closer, more exciting racing - in the past before I have seen races and positions won or lost due to having a car more suited to a track, regardless of PP or BHP values. In my first ever Trident on the small 'Ring, I had an RM'd TVR and BUCHAN had an old Charger or something. He never left me alone the entire race and the only thing that kept me ahead of him at the end was that my car had more torque out of the corners than his did. Also one week where Jamesy had an MR-S round Trial Mountain (I think) and he decimated all of us with his lap times. And do I need to remind anyone about the Gixxer battle between me and BUCHAN.....?
Use the tracks provided in the game - I have merely dabbled in the track creator and have learned that it is monotonous, frustrating and it does nothing you want it to. Ever. That said, you created some masterpieces. But ignore that last remark - we're trying to reduce your workload, not increase it!
Delegate - the Trident has more than enough names on its roster that could take a more active role. I'm not saying kidnap your baby, merely babysit for you once in a while and let you put the feet up for a well-earned break. I, for one, wouldn't mind in the slightest taking a week here and there to organise a weeks races. I might even bring you all over to a track I create myself set in the beauty of the Northern Irish countryside.....!
When I first started to show an interest in online racing and started my own thread, I had a few responses before Ade pointed me in the direction of the Trident. If you like, I could ask them same guys would they be interested in taking part? Also - you only have to look at Page One of this thread to see at least half a dozen names that I myself have never saw on a Trident grid. We could follow up them and see if they are also interested.

I'll be sad to see the end of Trident if it gets to that, as I had some good times in good races with good friends. In the same breath, I fully understand and appreciate any decision you make, Omnius
