I used the tune above, by Gerchu, and managed a 1'10.9 ...the car loves to over steer with that setup lol

I'm gonna keep pushing for a 1'9.xxx :dopey:

Yes it does, also, you can use the stock differential.

I tried to use the setup posted by Gerchu but I can't modify the transmission with his numbers... For example the minimun I can setup for the 1st gear is 3.143!! I don't understand why... Can someone explain it to me??

Maybe he hasn't limited the power for the seasonal. But I don't know I will try that set up later.

You have to do it like this:

1) Default
2) Max. 230 Kmh
3) Modify the gears with the numbers I've posted

Best Time 1'10.6xx.(I have to improve my Sector 3, it's so bad)

There's A LOT, A LOT of work to do on this setup. This is just a little help to all of you who can't get in to the 1'10.xxx time.

Thanks for sharing your tune. I tried it out and I must say, its loose as hell, lol. Not a bad thing by any means, just doesn't fit my driving style and really surprised me at how loose it is, almost like a drift tune. I'm currently in the 1'11.xxx range working on my own tune. Having trouble with the car pushing through the corner plus trying to eliminate some of the wheel spin coming out. Kudos to you tho for sharing your tune tho and nice time.

Power Limiter 👎 Just saying..

Not quite sure what your saying, but if you mean to use a stock car as opposed to an upgraded one, I tried that. My modified car with the power limited is by far faster as lap times go. The stock one is easier to drive, just not as fast. Thanks for the tip tho, much appreciated Mac.

That's why I don't like it, you said it yourself, it's faster.. No kidding.

So, your not a fan of using the power limiter, is that what your saying? Otherwise, you've lost me in the point your trying to make.

That's part of my point, but the other part is I don't find it fair to use it, the TT is limited to 400PP, throwing on a bunch of parts then abusing the power limiter just doesn't seem fair to me. PD should have prohibited tuning on this one, it would have been much more interesting and it wouldn't just come down to who could tune their car the best.

^^I understand what you're saying, which is why I loved the kart TT ...you couldn't really add upgrades to the kart lol and it was quite challenging as it kept it "fair".

Yup, my point exactly.

I understand now and respect your opinion but if they wanted it that way, they would have restricted all tuning. I do agree with you but if its allowed to do, I'm going to do it solely for the purpose of trying to be competitive with everyone else doing it. Why put myself at a disadvantage when I don't have to. My ideal TT tho would be to give everyone the same untunable car and let it be decided on driving skill alone and not on tuning. Like the old IROC series in NASCAR. But for now, as long as its not cheating and its within the rules, you gotta do what you gotta do to remain competitive.

I'm glad:P I'm also glad you feel the same way, but this is PD, so who knows why they allowed tuning for this TT.. Oh well.

Yep, it is what it is so you just gotta roll with it. Nice chatting with you again Mac. Have a good day.

For the toyota TT what is the best transmission settings and brake settings to use to get good times? with my current set up I can just about break 1:12 but I need to get it down more.

Loose it as hell? You should try the Stock Differential & Suspension.

Not trying to say your tune is bad, just saying it's pretty loose compared to my driving style and what I'm used to. Example: With your tune, going into the turns, off throttle with very little braking, it wants to slide out from underneath me. Just doesn't fit my style, thats all I was trying to say.

Use the setting's that are above this post, the one by Gerchu, it helped me tremendously lol

I am now at a 1'10.500; I have to relax now as I am losing focus in trying to break my record...hehe :dopey:

Yeah I used the suspension and lsd settings but changed the gears and brakes

Nice tune, I had to make it a little more loose but got down to 1:10.8ish I think, can mess with it a little bit and maybe , maybe pick up a second.

Oh that was polite, believe me.

Because it's not wanted here (the double posting) that's why. You might also want to read the aup, the one you agreed with when joining.

It's just for the common benefit.

OK. Whatever. Here I am using the multi-quote, hope you guys like it. Here, tell me something: does anyone really read this "aup"? Well, looks like some people around here do. So I really deeply apologize for not being a kid with nothing else to do, and for not having time to read the aup or have 4,255 or even 14,612 posts in this forum (this is only my 30th as you all can see), and for not being here all day to know how it works. I profoundly apologize for GT5 not being more than 90% of my life. I am really sorry if I work, study, earn my own money instead of asking mom to buy me stuff, have a girlfriend and friends and so on, and if I can only play my PS3 an average of 1 hour a day and even if I prefer to play FIFA rather than GT5 most of the time. And apologize for being only a 36 A-Spec and 38 B-Spec and not even have completed the game, all golds and endurance races and stuff, and if it wasn't for the Seasonals I probably wouldn't even be a 30 either in A or B-spec.

And lastly I truly apologize for all others who may be reading this and for me being here messing up the forum, first with double posts and now with this sort of off-topic message, I really promisse this is the last. Please, moderators, delete this if you think you should. I appreciate your work, this forum is very well organized and very helpful to thousands of casual and hardcore gamers, except when people like me go off-topic which isn't your fault, so keep up the good work, thanks and so long.

I thought that, i could go as fast with this as my tune, its the first time i have tried to properly tune so try it if you would and see what you think. To me its nice and tight with accurate steering and a sweet second gear for the hairpins. I might be a mile off. Like i said my first attempt at a tune.:nervous:
