The season for this series lasts two months and will only be run one time before September.

If you need to warm up your racing try the JGTC sereies now in its third season, it lasts until February 5th.

Next monday I will post the rules, signups can begin then as well as racing once you declare your cars and teams. Official Season Start is February 1st.

Rules are posted! Everyone can start forming up for the season. Once cars are declared you can start racing. Official Season Start is February 1st. It ends April 1st.

You may enter 1 car in each division. If you want to run only one car you may, if you want to run two you may and so on up to 4, but only one per divison.

I can't help but notice a conspicuous absence of the best track in the game from these events... Nurburgring is available as a Real Circuit Tour Race, surely we should be able to give these cars a workout around the 'Ring. 💡

I'm going to go with the Bentley Speed 8 Race Car '03. Can't go against the famous British Racing Green. :D

*EDIT* I'll go with my usual #42 if possible please.

Its elementary Mr. Watson. The track is narrow, tedious and not to my liking. Surely there are plenty of others to keep you busy. :) P.S. if you want to drive it, go ahead, but I don't want to.

If enough beg and plead for it ( Over ten ) then I may add it.

You are the first in the LMGTP Divsion.

Is that three thumbs up for Nurb' or against Nurb', O.G.?

Tedious? Um, no.
Technical, challenging and downright fun? Absolutely, postively, yes!

Sarthe is as dull as ditchwater and yet we're going to take on the chicaned version (woohoo! 2 extra chicanes to add all that excitement.
sleepgo.gif
) 3 times and the yawn-o-rama that is Sarthe II (wow, I can go fast in a straight line!) once. :(

Nurb' in place of one of the Sarthe I Races would at least add some spice and variety. :mischievous:

+1 for the 'ring. Got a C5 Corvette that's only used on that track for hot lapping, it's a dream to drive that combo.

If there are 2 people and one person is slower by a second a lap, then what is the point of the slower person? Or do the tracks have to be divided up evenly between the drivers?

That's AGAINST my friend. Right up there w/Numerous Skylines, Lancers, Silvias & all LAWN MOWER powered rides that PD's fascination with completely escapes me. :boggled: ...O.G.

Some of my favorite rides are the slowest in the game. My favorite race car happens to be the S800.
Like Smallhorses says Less HP = More Fun.

The way I figure the excessive amount of Skylines and such is that if I was designing a driving simulator, I'd include a lot of old American cars, Bel-Airs, T-birds, Roadrunners, Novas, and even the early 80's "sportscars".

👍👍👍👍👍 For Nurburgring. It really is a great course and a true test of both driver and machine. As for the Grand Prix, I'll go with the first car I ever drove, but haven't been in since, the Toyota GT-One. I haven't decided if I'll pick up a Class C racer as well.

Both drivers times are reported, you may score points with both, or not. The total points scored by your team will be compared to the other teams total points.

I guess this is your idea of hell then? :D
'Tis a shame. One of the most enjoyable experiences I had with GT4! 👍👍👍

I guess it's just not everyone's cup of tea / coffee / juice or whatever. :P

Actually, that was one of my very favorite rides in GT3. [And one of my pet peeves, where are the races for the Silvia, Wedsport Toyota et all???] What I fail to understand is why we need so many of it's "Street" version brothers, which all look the same to me. Seems having ONE in the game & then being able to modify it to whatever version tickles your fancy would have been MUCH better. [Also applies to Subies, Skylines etc. etc.]

My favorite race car happens to be the S800.

Mine too!!! But having a SERIES of races for the Copen & that all time powerhouse, the Citroen 2CV??? I'd MUCH rather have had a series for the numerous Honda S2000s, NSXs or maybe the Dodge Vipers, no???

My beef with the 'Ring isn't the course itself, [although it's FAR from my favorite] but in my experience the AI drives VERY BULLY-ish there. Put a difficult CLEAN pass on a car only to be rammed off the track in the next corner. :grumpy:

Many THANX for letting me vent...O.G.

👍
I would also like to see the 'Ring, and I haven't seen it in any competitions here.
Anyway,I'm going to use the tyre eating Nissan R92CP:sly:

Can we use a car if somebody has already taken it? If not then I will take the Minolta but if we can use the same car as somebody else then I have not made my decision yet.

Okay, thanks. I haven't picked a car yet but could I please reserve number 6 for the group C class?

Edit: Unless you meant the different colours like on the R8.

Also, I would be thrilled if anybody wanted to be my tuner, I can do small tuning but if somebody doesn't want to race and instead help with the setup that would be cool.

LOTS of races in this division, so I'll most likely only have time to do one ride. Therefore I'd like:

LMP1/LMP900 Division / Audi R8 Race Car ('01) #1

Many THANX...O.G.

After much testing I have decided to go with the Minolta.
This will give me something to do during exam week. :D
I'm assuming that we can start driving right away?

I think I'm going to withdraw from this series, I'm away most of March so I won't have chance to complete most of the races, and I don't want to endure Sarthe over & over again without the reward of Nurburgring.
It's also to keep my participation in events fair, as I'm devoting time to the GT series, Classic Muscle Car, Trackday Challenge, and Weekly Arcade Time Trial so as to support most of the series organisers rather than several by the same person, and I've just been in BH-21's JGTC Season 3 too.
Sorry. :indiff:

Sorry to hear that Smallhorses: :indiff:

Since I've already completed my runs in the Audi, I'll pick up the slack & take over your Bentley ride. Will register a number next time I have my PS2 on...O.G.

EDIT: Found a photo here @ the Planet. I'll take #7
