Here's the video, it took me some time to record, edit and upload and I hope you'll enjoy.



As you can see, I pretty much nailed the lap up untill my first mistake which happen just before Karussel, I'm just a human after all, then I almost lost it at Eschbach which got my heart pumping to be honest, that made me go really wild into Brünnchen but beeing a good drifter as I am - I managed to save the lap, final mistake happen in the last corner where I literally avoided the grass by 0.5cm (I checked in photomode).
Anyways, have fun - it's a fun watch.

are "tuned cars" that were based on production versions permitted to have racing air filter/exhaust and flywheel?

Only limitation on tuned cars is that production cars have to use Sports Soft tires or less.
 
Yep, (for tuned category) you can tune them the way you like, but make sure it use sport soft tires at best. :)

Horrible car, huge understeer. If I spent a week on it there's a possible 7'04 but I can't be bothered driving that **** car again.

Great lap, overall I'm happy with it (just before the Audi chicane mother called me, so I had to press pause and when I resumed I braked too much, ending up in 1st gear losing about 0.5 sec) and I'll upload the replay.

I'm out. :lol: No seriously, nice time. Took me ages to break 7:15 but when I did and couldn't seem to better my time with either a clean lap or a mostly clean lap (only stupid mistakes like tapping the blue wall just before the start/finish, no cutting) I left it alone.

Thanks, it took me about 30 minutes for this, only did 1 lap but it was good enough.

Question: Fobia, is you Chaparral 2J time with stock racing hard tires and no settings done to the car? to enter in the racing/non-production you can run racing soft and you can adjust teh wings etc..

but for the ALL STOCK you cannot change anything, let me know if it is in the right category, ive put it in the all stock.


-Sutuki, just in case, make sure you set grip to ''real'' , its probably what you did but i know in WRS its allowed so i thought id ask to make sure everyone is on the same settings. Nice laps by the way! 👍

Yeah i noticed the Type 72 lap also, forgot to ask him if it was right, i dont think its faster than the 111S but never tried it so its hard to say :)

I drove with sports soft, as I have those and comfort softs and assumed the sport softs were the stock tyres. If not, consider my laptime invalid and delete it.

Yeah I always set grip reduction to real, unless I'm running WRS.

Nice lap with the Zonda there Fobia, the thing sure does get snappy real quick if you're not careful. At least with the CTR you can plan for it and it's a smoother kind of oversteer. :lol:

On another note, I'm about 6 seconds short of the stock F40 best prior to full break-in and overhaul/maintenance, should be fun once I get that done.

Oh and that XJ220 lap is NUTS!!! Not touching that one anytime soon.

What is in red is not filled corectly, you have to use your username for the entry, and the lap time should look more like this:

Otherwise the lap time will not work correctly on the alphabetic order and if i dont see it it will mess the spreadsheet.

Is the car completly stock?

Sorry Im using the android app, the different colours dont show up on it. Ok I'll be sure to have it correct for next time. Yes it is I hadn't touched it until last night, don't know why I picked that from all the other cars in the game :lol:
 
Hey Turismo.M.G!'s **CAR OF THE WEEK! Friday 17/02/12** is the Alfa Romeo, Spider 1600 Duetto '66.

We have some tuned to 420PP on Sports Soft tires over in the Tuner Wars by Harvey Wallbanger thread in the tuning forum and are looking for test drivers to put them through their paces around the Nordschleife. The tuners have the cars on share so test drivers won't have to build the tunes themselves if they don't want to, just send the tuners a FR on PSN.:cheers:

Best time of course will be entered here under the Tuned Car category.👍👍:gtpflag:
 
I tried the car stock, it's so boring I took unnecessary risks and my time was penalized.. I'll have to give it a try again sometime.

I'm slow and a lousy driver but have managed a high 8:12.xxx green lap so far with my 420PP tune of the car. A good driver should easily get it under 8 minutes.:D
