Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, if I'm honest. I think the main reason it wasn't that fast was hardly because of the tune, but more the car. Or truck, rather. It so…daunting, the prospect of it, that it ruins the lap for you straight off. The other issue I have with this is the drive…there's nothing wrong, apart from the fact that I can't feel what the damn thing is doing. It doesn't give any feel of the road or the grip the tyres has, which doesn't give confidence.

On the other hand, I can't find any of the hideous handling problems that others have pointed out. It doesn't have murderous oversteer and understeer as such, it just has a very low diff setting which makes it feel very tight. It makes it feel stiff, unresponsive and also has the side effect of cooking the inner rear wheel. Another issue I have with this car is the gearing, main issue being that 3rd is your "real" 1st gear, and the 1st and 2nd is only good for locking the thing in place when you do oversteer. I've tuned one of these before, I know how awful they are, so I can only conclude that the lackluster performance of this is down to the car, and not really the tune.
 
I was planning on posting my entries, but had to step away from my computer. My Airtrek and Tacoma are on share, so if it is aloud, testers can run them. If not aloud, they will be up officially later today. Sorry for any inconvenience :dopey:

I managed a 2:18xxx in it myself, the lighting up of the inner rear I find to be more amusing, and did that to the diff on purpose:crazy:

I just love the fact that there are a few of us with a sense of humor when car selection is made, and enjoy the idea of an off kilter battle!!!!:)

Weapon!!, I literally just smashed out 2 laps to see if it was drivable..... then posted the tune.... I did however do about 25 laps of tsukuba....

The goal of the tacoma was to make it fun....

The goal of my forth coming netries is to be competetive......

i did try to drift it around tsukuba after my laps with it... but it did not work -_-

-save as JPEG
-Upload photobucket or other similar
