reverse grid order after race #1
Race Procedure:
- Qualifying (10 minutes) before Race #1 to begin at event start time with a track reset
- Racers qualify and then stay on track until race starts to preserve qualifying position
- Race #1 : fastest first, in a determined 1-make race.
- Race #2+ : RGO, cars assigned according to finishing grid # order of previous race. (may move up the list, keeping in order, to utilize all the cars)
- Short 2-5 minute breaks in between races for personal pit stops &/or taking the next car for a test drive.
flat points determined by participation # in each race
(ie: 10 drivers in the race, #1 gets 10 points, and so forth)
Rules:
GTP OLR Rules
- Please familiarize yourself with these rules prior to racing.
- All regular rules and regulations apply - regardless of who is in what car on which track.
- If someone else is flouting the rules, you report them after the race and they will be warned, receive penalties, or in a serious case expulsion from the league.
- Retaliation, "payback", or monkey-see-monkey-do rule flouting will not be tolerated.
- In a case where a racer fails to make contact concessions, the concession will be applied post-race.
- Race #1 of each session will be a 1-make race in a car chosen by whoever is in the top "host" position in the lounge at the scheduled start time. (Only exception to this is if the Race #1 1-make car has been decided on for some reason prior to the event or racing session.)
- In the case a driver did not complete the previous race, that driver will be 1st on grid according to RGO, so to make things fair, that driver will also be obliged to drive the car listed as #2 (or the corresponding car if using the modified lists). (to prevent scoffing)
- In case a driver has left the lounge in between races for any reason, that driver will be in front on the grid according to RGO. If the car assignment is #1 the driver will keep that car assignment, for all other car assignments that driver will take #2 car instead. (to prevent scoffing)
- In order to keep everyone honest, and that no mistakes are made - drivers will note the car they themselves should be in PLUS the driver on the finishing grid in front of them (in the case of #1 - check the last place racer's car)
- Drivers must have all list cars prepared and drive the assigned car according to the car assignment rules.
- In a case where a racer cannot get in the proper car, they must sit out the race and follow the rule for skipped races, or use the #2 car (in addition to whoever placed 2nd in the previous race).
To be consulted regarding the rules or in the event of any race incidents.
Please consult the stewards who raced in your schedule.

- While the purpose is to create closer more exciting and interesting racing among various racers of various experience with a variety of models on track... The car assignment list is not meant to be "fair" nor a perfect parity/disparity scheme. It is meant to be much like a shuffle race, and subject to a great deal of random chance.
- If you enjoy shuffle racing, you may like this even better. 👍
- If you don't like shuffle racing, &/or you find Reverse Grid Order frustrating, this is not the race series for you.
