I was looking forward towars Kayane being in it but she didn't make it. Her partner, Keev did. Though I wonder if the Wong won any games...

I didn't use too many varying colours because they actually don't look that great with the options I have, not because I'm one of those people who are stuck up on black or white.

It was announced on the 3rd. I only got around to grabbing it yesterday. I don't know who sets up their menus, there really is no need for the entire "STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN (C)" bit for each file name since it's only for this game, so it's not needed at all.

hmmm Ghost Recon and Test drive Ferrari interesting back on topic the colors are nice but I think even I am getting tired of SF X T

I've only just bought SFXTK and I think its bundles of fun. Just waiting on the patch that fixes the online issues.

Juggling is fun, but after not playing tekken for so long, the button layout of said game is tricky to adapt to. SFxT is one very good solution to that for me.

Don't you have some friends you can play with offline, darren? If not, show them sick combos and get them playing. It's a very good opportunity right now since you're new to the game as well.

Not really. None of my friends in real-life play fighters. They're all about COD, lol. So I just play that with them. Though I did show one of them Super Turbo HDR, but they didn't like it.

You can't expect people new to FGs to possibly like HDR... that's WAY too core fighter... visuals are what draw their attention which is why games like Mortal Kombat and Soul Caliber tend to suck people in more easily.

Let them ease their way in. I remember when I talked my friend into a group order for SFIV; at first he went "mm SF doesn't seem like something I'd play"... months later, he plays the game more than I do, gets into Blazblue and a year after that, MvC3...

Over the year or so, we came to the conclusion that he's not good with fundamentals; his style of play doesn't warrant him very good footsies, which is why he plays a lot better in Marvel and SFxT.

I on the other hand play SF better than the other games, and need more practice time in SFxT.

I'm awesome at SCV and pretty good with MvC3 and SFXTK, but I'm rubbish at Super IV, which is why I don't tend to play a lot of that. I do play SFXTK with my Dad, but he just beats me by pressing MP repeatedly when close to me...

EDIT- I just got a 1.02 Update notice for SFXTK, could this be it...

You need to visit SRK more often; yes it's a patch that fixes some bugs and other stuff like reducing the frequency of sound drops online.

Did you have a XBL account? You really don't need to visit SRK unless its for something specific( I.E...One of King's Anti-airs is st.mp). Do the trial modes of your character choice and work from there.

Yes I do have an XBL account. But I play most fighters on PS3.

on AE, when all this guy knew how to do was jump mk, cl mk, mk hyakuretsu, repeat....then he started doing jump back fireballs, jump in fireball, sweep repeat.

I'm slightly curious how "good" he claims he is on Marvel, though I'm personally doubting he's a whole lot better. Will want to fight him despite how much lag we're going to get. Fight you on Thursday, darren...

I use Ken X Kazuya for online, I use dashes mostly in this game to get around fast. To be honest I'm a lot better with the Tekken side characters than Street Fighter side, though with the SF side I can string a 5 hit combo or up to 8 when using HP+HK.

From someone's Twitter:

"» Someone suggested to Katsuhiro Harada about Tekken 6 DLC, and he said it was something he would consider. What kind of DLC, I wonder?"

I know Tekken 6 isn't really what most people are concerned about at the moment but because nothing has happened with it since its console release (other then the patch for the Co-Op Campaign), its gotten my attention and I would really like for this to happen. Would hold me over until TTT2's console release.

A DLC for Tekken? Probably another character.
I think so... check the replay channel.
Here is another update

Posted by SFilp — 20 minutes ago El33tOnline wrote an article that details some of the upcoming changes and additions to Street Fighter X Tekken. A new replay analyzer, 60 new gems, additional gem save loadouts and more. Will all be available for free in the next title update.

Here is an excerpt.
There will also be a free title update that will give over 60 new gems and replay analyser and additional gem save loadouts – this title update will be dated in the future. Some of the things you can look forward to are Pandora extend, Ultimate guard and Expert Input. Pandora Extend will allow you to sacrifice characters to give you a 20 second power-up boost to another character instead of the 10 second boost. Ultimate guard combines Auto Block, Auto Throw Escape and Chip Damage Negation into one chip. Take note that this requires one block per meter per use, and also that if you block by yourself you’ll still take chip damage. Expert Input requires precise inputs.

Ono then moved on to give some information about the May downloadable content, which will be a mix of free and paid content. It will add colours from Palette 3 (free), include the Street Fighter X Tekken Assist Gem Pack 4 for $2/160 Microsoft Points and the Street Fighter X Tekken Booster Pack 3 and 4 for $1/80 Microsoft Points. Ono rounded off his part of the presentation by stating that battle related bugs (that leads to infinite combos) is being fixed.

Have no idea what this is, seems new to me. I'm also interested in that song.
