Just a heads up. Starting with Event #2, Race #1 car assignment will be determined by current points standings (for that schedule).
So you know what car you'll be in for Race #1 the following week.
For example, for Next Sunday, we will use the points standings from Sunday's event #1.

@ james6653 : Just for race #1 the points standings determines your car assignment. Then it's based on the previous race. 👍
Sunday jackargent & I got to drive 5 different cars in 6 races.
Zorrin got to drive 4 different cars in 6 races.
GTP_J_Turner, I believe, drove a different car for all 6 races!
The more people show up, the more varied the cars on the track I think. 👍
With 30 races in all for the season series, Hopefully everyone will get a chance to race most, if not all, the cars on the list. 👍
Obviously you're not going to hear any complaints from me.
What's interesting is that I don't really know Cape Ring South very well at all. But I finished 5th of 6 in the previous race, so I got potentially better car assignment. Which says to me, the list and the system is working pretty well! I had a tough time fending off JT & DQ, right to the finish line! Had they not been in generally less performing cars, I would have had no chance on a track I barely know against those fast guys!!!
As it happens, the 135i is one of my favourite cars in the game.

We had a pretty good time on Sunday so I'm looking forward to doing it again... with a tad of practice.
Though nothing's going to make up for my inexperience on Daytona Road Course & Suzuka Circuit. I just don't wind up racing on those tracks very often, as they are not popular picks for the cars I'm usually racing.
But that's also why I'm so hyped about this format, because it lends itself to a lot of variety and getting around to a lot of tracks! 👍
So is everyone now fixed up on all the cars on the list?

What time does the room open up ? i asume first race starts at 21.00 CEST, do we quali before that or do we then start quali for first race ?

The room is typically open and occupied up to 30 minutes ahead depending on schedules for a little fun warm-up in general. If nobody is there, you can host the room.
We usually have a short warm up/qualify session starting at the series starting time right before the 1-make race. After that, the shuffle list assignments begin based on placement in the 1-make race.

Here's the list, there's only 2 not available in the NCD & OCD.
If you don't have those, let us know and we can probably get them sent a.s.a.p. before racing. 👍
Some do not come with Sports Hard, so you'll have to buy Sports Hard Tires for them.
All will at least need an oil change, so take them all to GT Auto and do what you can to maintenance them. 👍
And of course, paint them whatever colours you choose.
You can paint all your cars in a uniform colour like jackargent painted his fleet all orange, or do what I've done, and paint them in various colours. hee hee.
Race Procedure is in the OP (opening post):
You may however, arrive early for warm-up. First person in the lounge should set the regulations as described in the OP of this thread. 👍
And if you can't make it on time, that's OKAY. We have provisions for accommodating late arrivals and skipped races, in regards to car assignments. 👍
And if you need to leave early, that's OKAY too. The system is designed to accommodate those with scheduling conflicts.
The points system for example, is set up so that if you miss a race, of course you won't get points for it... but those who do participate, will get less points without you.
So hopefully that will have the effect of balancing things.
For example, we use the same system in the Vintage Mixer, and even though IMZIZ is unable to attend all the scheduled races, IMZIZ is still at #2 in points. 👍
So don't worry about not being able to commit to all 30 races of the season, as there's plenty of competition even for those who can't make them all. 👍
